It's a daddy/daughter thing, I think. :3oops:
I doubt they will ever have what we'd consider a normal life whether Michael was alive or not. I truly feel bad for them as, whether he was creepy or not, he was their father and they obviously feel a great deal of love for him. I certainly am in no danger of being father of the year, and I can only hope that my baby girl feels that sort of love for me.As bad as it sounds to say it a big part of me feels that the kids are probaly better off without him around. Maybe now they will have some sort of a chance at a halfway normal life.
Since they had the memorial today, does that mean that the freak show is over?

It would be nice for the media to go back to distorting news on Iran like they were before Michael Jackson died.Oh...no....no. There's still some pennies and dimes for the media to squeeze out from this. Just last year the media was making money off of "Michael the pedophile." Today, it's "Michael the talented Pop God and how he will be missed."
I detest the media.

I watched the memorial (I was at home today and had nothing better to do, so sue me), and the one part that got to me was when his daughter Paris spoke at the end.

SunGlasses at a funeral? who does that? :dohLooked fake and rehearsed to me. I didn't see any tears. What was with all the sunglasses? I suspect this kept them from needing to apply the 50 layers of makeup they usually wear.
I don't think that family cares about anybody or anything but money.
SunGlasses at a funeral? who does that? :dohmost everybody i have ever been to a funeral with, and unfortunately i have been to alot
How do you know this?
And why would the insurance company pay out 20 million dollars (perhaps twice) if there was no proof he molested anyone?
I liked the memorial alot, very sad
The little kid near the end was cute and i had a tear in my eye when i saw Usher and the Mother crying.
It was a very movining memorial and I cried a lot during the whole thing. Somethings are bothering me. While Paris tears and words touched me? It bugged me that it appeared as if Janet pushed that girl up to the mic.
Another thing that has been bugging me is this that I thought Michael converted to Islam a few years ago and this whole memorial had a Christian church feel to it. Why no talk of Allah? I am prettty sure that in the public death announcement that Jermaine made outside the hospital he said something like you are now with Allah or something like that. Anybody else hear that?
I was crying like crazy when Usher went down and touched that casket.
