Man made global warming is a hoax

If the left is so worried about CO2 they should go out and plant trees.

We did. Unfortunately while your number related to human-produced CO2 is reasonably correct it doesn't mean what you think it means.

As has been noted MULTIPLE times now: just because the numbers look small to you doesn't mean a single thing. It just doesn't. There are plenty of things in this universe that have a big effect at small amounts. In addition you ignored rate of release and the time-scales of the carbon cycle.

There is a great deal of effort to do that. And that's also why many who take this seriously want to see deforestation in the Amazon scaled back.

(And since when is caring about the only planet we have to live on a "Left/Right" topic???)

Have you looked at the numbers of the climate scientists on worldwide basis. And numbers can indeed be used to undergird a lie.
 
America burning hundreds of millions of gallons of gasoline and diesel fuel every day is a gigantic fire burning every day.

There are many carbon atoms in each molecule of these fuels. Those carbon atoms combine with oxygen atoms in the air and produce CO2 molecules. One fuel molecule produces many CO2 molecules. Again, there are many carbon atoms in each fuel molecule. So, burning these fuels creates a lot of CO2.

Burning these fuels is kind of like burning materials from your house to heat your house. As in, we will need petroleum for materials, until alternatives are a substitute.
 
Scream and whine all you want, but my numbers are correct. Left wingers really need to do something about the huge lie and brain washing of man made global warming. The numbers simply do not support it.

Honestly, I don't think anyone is disputing your numbers in terms of gigatons of CO2 dumped into the atmosphere by humans. The problem is, again, with your "conclusions".

You keep implying the two concepts are linked.

Only you and a small handful of people think this to be the case. Your estimates seem based on the most crude oversimplifications imaginable and you are focused on ignoring the estimates from multiple lines of independent evidence which point to a higher sensitivity.

This means that your hypothesis is "confirmed" for you by merit of your simply tossing out what the experts in the field feel is the more likely value. And it is bolstered by your oversimplified model of the system.

Oh, OK! Sorry! I completely forgot that I'm on an anonymous discussion forum and some rando just told me that it isn't going to happen. Because the earth's history is LITTERED with cases where local climates changed and the societies collapsed. But if YOU, a guy from Canada, tells me it isn't going to happen I'll just go ahead and toss out all my education in earth science and go with the "hopeful gamble"!

Why would the guy who doesn't seem to know the basics of the science think he knew what was going to happen? Even if we decarbonized completely today we'd still be looking at several more decades of warming. It's called "equilibrium" warming. We are nowhere near the equilibrium point yet.

Huh. It's so strange that someone who doesn't understand the BASICS would think they know enough to say what is or isn't going to happen. Interesting.

Besides that Dr. Gavin Schmidt and NSAS's GISTEMP rewrite the historical data every month.
NASA's Land Ocean Temperature Index (LOTI) has entries for every month since 1880. Here's
the number of changes made to LOTI in 2020:

Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec
319 240 313 340 298 404 319 370 303 389 381 370

That goes on as a monotonous drone every month, year after year, warming the present and
cooling the past.
