Even though I agree that a baby is a life, but so is the mother. The child won't even survive without a mother, let alone a barely functional one. Though I still think abortion should be a last resort, but so do most people. This wouldn't be an issue however, if people practised decent protection at least.

Abortion is one of those issues that has been weaponized into a political tinder box. I would love to see people animated to vote on universal healthcare, or, K-16 education, but there has been a crusade began long before you were born to make abortion into a politically relevant topic. When really, it’s an ancillary issue effecting few people. It used to be a winning issue for the right, but, as it were, the proverbial dog has caught the proverbial car

Well, it shouldn't have, just because some people abuse any potential thing doesn't mean it should be restricted for all. Even K-16 would heavily benefit our country as a whole.
Why exactly have we gone down this absurd polarization?
 

Once again, note the woman is not prosecuted, she faces no criminal charges. Only whoever provides them to her.
