It is similar to what is employed in some parts of Europe. Although I'm not sure it necessarily scales to a super power like the US. Multivariable systems do not necessarily scale linearly.

Contrary to the lies the left try to circulate and keep active, the new deal was not the utopia it is claimed to be. As late as 1939 there was STILL double digit unemployment. FDR did not fix the recession, WWII unfortunately did.

Not fixed, no. But on a clear path of recovery. Worst depression in history doesn't get fixed overnight.

And then, yes, WW2 finally put EVERYONE to work.

They come here to take part in the freedoms that our from of government allows for. If you were actually as versed as you think you are, you would realize that capitalism has absolutely nothing to do with that form of government.

Its not the socialist aspects most people are running from....its the totalitarian nature of communism that they are fleeing. That kind of thing can happen under capitalism just as easily.
