If Liz Cheney bails on your ass...

I've heard rumblings from a lot of Republicans on the site... and with this I'd say he's on his way out very... very soon.

**** Liz Cheney! We need a man like Steele leading the republican party.

You know what we need? A Constitutional amendment requiring morons like Liz Cheney to dance the Hokey Pokey naked on the Washington Mall when they have the audacity to act like their word means anything.

While I think Steele is an idiot for trying to paint Afghanistan as Obama's war, I wouldn't criticize him for suggesting the war may not be winnable. The fact is that politics has become hideously entangled with war to the point where soldiers cannot deliver victory alone. Our plan in Afghanistan rest on the hope a foreign-backed Karzai is accepted as the legitimate leader of Afghanistan, a difficult task that no amount of firepower can accomplish. The troops have held up their end of the fighting, but the political leadership of both administrations has consistently failed to successfully build stable nations. While I don't think the situation is completely hopeless, we should be questioning if our politicians have the ability to do their part. Vietnam was lost because we failed to understand that for all our military power, we were weak and vulnerable politically. We should not make the same mistake again.

Steele was the equivalent of a seat sitter at the Academy Awards. This is just the opportunity they needed to have him exit.

You need a guy like Dean running the DNC, too.

There is one good thing to say about Dean...at least he is not Steele...

And yeah, that's about as much good to say about him as I can think of.

it's not like the demos reclaimed the white house, senate and house on his watch
... nevermind

That was more Bush's losing the base than Democrats winning.

I like him, but think he needs to go. I hope he will just resign with no fuss.

no doubt bush played a big part
but with someone like Dean at the helm, the demos may have had a chance to limit the shrub to but one term
a kerry candidacy never had a chance
admittedly, that is all conjecture

He should switch parties.
