the problem is too many people have representation with out taxation

we need to get rid of the system that allows the many to increase tax rates on the minority that already pays most of the taxes.

It is your opinion that people not paying in taxes for all the services they get from the government is the problem regarding taxation in the US, that people can vote to increase spending without having to pay for it. That does not mean it is in fact the most perniciouss problem when it comes to taxes

I do not think anyone is in favor of no taxes. Highways,schools, police and fire department, prisons to house inmates, military to defend our country and many other things got to be paid for somehow. The issue is how much should someone pay and how those taxes should be collected. I would like to see income taxes abolished and replaced with a national sales tax.

I doubt such ridicule derives from a perception that conservatives/libertarian believe there should be no taxes. Rather, it is a parody of how, in situations where increasing taxes is on the table, conservatives/libertarians almost always take the other side.

Others would way providing excess benifits or providing them in ways that promote staying on them rather then ecouraging those on them to improve their lot would be a bigger issue regarding taxes and their uses

Earnestness is pretty subjective over the Internet. It is difficult to know anything about conservatives/libertarians and believe they would affirm a belief in no taxes, and people on this forum know conservatives well enough to be aware that few of them would say, "No taxes whatsoever."
