That you think soldiers sleeping on the floor is anything abnormal shows you didn’t spend much time in the Army.

And that you think setting up facilities for troops to stay is something that cabinet level people do shows your grasp of reality isn’t that good.
Well that or you are letting your hatred of Trump replace your thinking ability.

If they’re not criminals, and they’re working and paying taxes, and contributing to our economy, they should at least be given an opportunity, and a pathway to becoming a citizen. These people that ICE are scooping up, don’t even get the opportunity to call an attorney, or present their papers saying they’re being processed, or maybe haven’t appeared for their court date yet. When a fisherman casts a big net, he usually catches fish that don’t belong in that net.

The open border created a situation where millions and millions of illegals were let in.

Trump and team are putting quite a significant effort into locating and deporting criminals. It certainly hasn't been a straightforward or an easy task - especially in sanctuary cities. But just for the sake of this comment, let me toss out an example. Let's say 10 million were let in during Biden's term. And let's just say for the sake of this discussion that 1 million are criminals (these are simply hypothetical estimates). NEVER did I hear Trump discuss working to remove only 1 million and agreeing to just ignore the other 9 million. Is that what you were expecting = that this administration would suddenly simply decide millions upon millions of recently let in illegals should just stay and be permanently absorbed (including the resources, cost, housing, education, medical care, etc., needed to accommodate that number of new non-citizens)???

The team has been focusing on criminals and in the last 4-5 months, MANY have been removed from our streets, thankfully. But the open border issue was far greater than removing some dangerous criminals for a few months and calling the issue resolved. I expect deportations will continue and increase (after more funding has passed) for the entirely of Trump's term and hopefully beyond.

I think a couple individual polls are the last thing on Trump's mind. I think his campaign promises of deportations, which I think were quite significant to his election win, will continue in earnest. I think deportations are just getting started and I certainly agree with that goal. If you think the Dems fighting every last one of those deportations will be politically useful to Dems, I'll just leave you with that hope. I think it's a misguided and even crazy hope. I think the stance the Dems are taking on this issue is one of the stupidest stances they could possibly take. I think it's so stupid, that I'm just blown away by the decision, the visuals, and the tactic.
