I agree. The LAPD might just be the worst officers in the US.

Kinda makes you want a better trained, unbiased force to intervene.
 
Now for all you Barney Fifes out their cheering the capture of murderers and the like has it dawned on you they will never be in immigration court buildings. That's where law abiding persons go. The joke is on YOU PEOPLE. Like the draft dodger Trump that will brag on the coming military parade is to honor his courage in the face of fire the NG and ICE boys should be real proud of rounding innocent illegals with no crime record for decades. KPRC 2 was notified that agents were waiting at the Greenspoint Park Immigration Court, located at 16800 Greenspoint Park Dr.
KPRC 2’s Re’Chelle Turner was escorted out of the courthouse Wednesday morning, although the public is allowed to witness immigration court proceedings. She was told by a person who identified themselves as a manager that she was not allowed to watch court proceedings unless she was there for a person attending court.
For the past two weeks, 2 Investigates has been looking into which cases are being targeted for arrest. On Tuesday, 2 Investigates, Robert Arnold and the team were present when three people were detained at the immigration court on S. Gessner at the Southwest Freeway.

I had not heard this story, interesting read.

However, nowhere in there does it say he said he was going to kill someone.

If it does and I missed it, cite it.

Only in the sense that they're both law enforcement, and have similar physical jurisdictions.

They are separate agencies - the police department reports to the Mayor and the city government, whereas the Sheriff's department reports to the Sheriff.

If an immigrant violates immigration laws that makes them an "illegal immigrant," just like if a driver violates traffic laws that makes them an "illegal driver." Duh.

It also makes them criminal scum, obviously. If someone does 68 in 60, you have to wonder what other crimes are they willing to commit?

They are probably members of both the Mafia and the Yakuza as well.

Well, no, they get elected, right?


Either way, law enforcement in LA leaves a lot to be desired, and has for a very long time.

The Sheriff is elected, and covers the whole county - the Mayor (and the LAPD) only covers the City of Los Angeles.

He authorized their availability. It's not the same thing as ordering their deployment. Capitol Police requested support (presumably deployment). They waited for 3 hours. This has been documented over and over again.

No, all that would still occur because it's not just "illegals" doing it. They make up some small percentage of those commiting those crimes, but not the totality.

Tone down the hysterics.
