The articles I've read say the protestors did not lawfully have a permit to protest. They'll need one for the next protest.
My own observation was that the alleged KKK guy should not have pulled the gun.

I don't see where anyone's civil rights were violated though.

I admit to the known facts as I read them. I have read that this case has been referred to the FBI though.
I cannot speak as to why the local police let the man go. Can you?

I especially like this ad hoc nugget:

"Pointing a gun isn't violence!"

Every one of these people would shit their pants immediately, if somene pointed a gun at them. Some would pull out their gun and shoot and be proud of it. Just ask them.

They definitely know that it is violence.

But when they hop in from the high dive to defend the Klan, they end up saying some pretty stupid things they don't even believe.

Not other than that. I'm not sure why LE did not pursue with a brandishing charge.
The case was referred to the FBI though.
