He was trying to make a point Iowa's hands off approach to Covid versus California's "tyrannical" approach was better even though per capita more Iowans died than Californians. Even though California population is way denser than Iowa, they still did better managing it. Sure some people were inconvenienced more but more lives were saved. Hard for Iowa or people who claim to be "pro-life" tout that as an achievement.

I am fed up with both Parties. When Trump was President the Dems bashed him in their response. When Obama was President the Repubs bashed hi in their response. It is time to stop this bs and work together.

If she really feels that the money Biden gave Iowa to make the "transformational" (her words) investments in water infrastructure, housing, rural broadband, etc. that she's been touting is inflationary, will she give that money back?

Biden did NOT fail. It is very simple. He is trying his best but the Republicans (and two Democrats) are not helping at all and he cannot to it alone. It really is that simple. Biden is no superman and he isn't even a man that catches the attention in a way that makes a difference of consequence. He is a man that is trying his best but is facing an inpenetrable wall of blind-by-choice and unwanting-to-compromise Republicans and Biden is not a big truck that can raze through them and put them all into the garbage dump.
 
It was a little better than the Bobby Jindal response a few years ago.

Total shit defense/rebuttal. The governor of Iowa has the same responsibility to protect all of her state’s citizens, not just those under 65.

And not that it matters one iota, the 3% difference doesn’t put a dent in the difference in the two states Covid-19 death rate.

I would rather see a rebuttal state we disagree with the President on X. We propose the solution is Y.

Basically, Congress remains gridlocked and dysfunctional.

UH. Perhaps if you listened to her rather than being angry. On inflation Biden's fix is to spend trillions more out of Washington. The solution proposed by the REpubicans is 'Are you ****ing kidding me - stop the spending'

UH, you do realize that Congress had to approve the spending. Congress controls the purse string.

I am not angry. Just fed up with all the partisan bs going on for years in Congress.
