They disagree with his proposal to fix inflation by spending trillions more. Their solution is to stop the spending.

- If a person refuses to take safety precautions for covid, how is that the Presidents fault?
- If you were President, what would you have done different from what the US has been doing dealing with covid?

You seem to not understand how federal spending works in the US. The President has limited ability to just spend money.

Ok. The solution given was stop sending money.
Then how would she address the results of the not spending on covid and other programs?
You do realize that Congress has not had a balanced budget in decades. That Congress has been running up the debt and overspending for decades.
It is not a one Party to blame issue.

When exactly did republicans put forward the proposal to stop the spending and what did they do to implement that plan?

Roughly 40 years ago the republicans lost the ability to ever claim to be about fiscal responsibility.

Yes, if Trump had done his job there would be less deaths due to covid.

It is difficult to stop a pandemic once it is past the initial stages. Much like a wildfire. Much easier to stop when small. Not so easy when it's at 100,000 of acres.

It is perhaps the most brazen example of hypocrisy: politicize the pandemic, down play its transmissibility, shun precautions, shun vaccines, but play up bizarre, un proven treatments and THEN blame the leader of the other side for people dying.
