North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is in a “vegetative state” after he underwent heart surgery earlier this month, a Japanese magazine says.
The weekly Shukan Gendai reported Friday that a Chinese medic sent to North Korea as part of a team to treat Kim believed a delay in a simple procedure left the leader severely ill, Reuters reported.
North Korean media hasn’t mentioned Kim’s health or whereabouts, even though reports by other media have sparked international speculation about his well-being.

The idea a Japanese Weekly magazine has the inside scoop on this is very, very doubtful.

Something is clearly going on.

He hasn't been seen in public for awhile and his sister was recently promoted, two pieces of the puzzle that suggest a narrative that there is something up with him to a high degree of probability.

However everyone has picked up this news story without much verification because usually, there is no way to verify stuff like this from the Hermit Kingdom.

I'm going to do some wild coronaspeculation here. My theory is that despite closing down early, North Korea is probably getting whacked pretty hard by coronavirus. Once community transmission starts, that country's health system is woefully unequipped to deal with it. Is it possible Kim contracted the virus and has been off sick? In order to avoid sounding 'weak' perhaps his people are leaking counter narratives.

As I said, pure speculation on my part.

He wasn't that bad of a guy. He reached out to Obama and Trump unlike his father. Kim Jong il caused the massive starvation and food shortage in North Korea.

Was he as bad as some of the idiots before him? Nope, but still a constant threat. Just fearful who is going to step into the boots of this idiotic madman.
