Kilmar Abrego Garcia on way back to US to face criminal charges: Sources

She's making many "assertions'.

She only has brought forward two charges.

If the resulting convictions are (due process) grounds for deportation to CECOT then why bother with more?

From the article

He is the only one they found? If it was such a huge operation over that many years, why don't they have others?

The others didn't make Trump look bad.

Here's all the documentation regarding the due process this knucklehead received - https://www.supremecourt.gov/DocketPDF/24/24A949/354843/20250407103341248_Kristi Noem application.pdf

The Supreme Court already ruled that Abrego Garcia deserved due process during the deportation stage:

If you disagree, take it up with the Supreme Court. They are the ultimate authority. Not Trump. Not Stephen Miller. And not you.

Perhaps the others were granted immunity (or other plea deals) in exchange for their testimony against Garcia.
Perhaps. Immunity and or plea bargains are fairly common.

How rich in irony, Trump wanting a jury to take the word of undocumented immigrants in the prosecution of one here legally.

They didn't have to be proved. The issue is that KAG was here illegally.
How can you still be so hilariously wrong at this point regarding Garcia? He had temporary protected status. He wasn’t illegal.
He requested asylum and was denied. His asylum claim was again denied on appeal. The hearings included testimony of his gang affiliation but, since he wasn't being charged with gang activity, there wasn't a hearing required on that aspect.

At any rate, he has now been indicted on gang related charges so all the bleeding hearts can now sit around waiting for a criminal trial and then support gang activity as much as they like. Maybe all of you will head to the streets in your red and blue lumberjacks to show even more solidarity and "ally support" for criminals.

a removal order that prohibited removal to Guatemala, not El Salvador.

This is not correct.

Look at your document, go to PDF Page 78:

"On October 10, 2019, at the conclusion of hotly contested removal proceedings before an IJ in Baltimore, Mr. Abrego Garcia won an order granting him withholding of removal, pursuant to Section 241(b)(3) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, 8 U.S.C. § 1231(b)(3), as to El Salvador."

That bitch needs to have charges brought against her and get disbarred as well.

The DOJ needs a major rehaul and to be fully independent of the executive branch.

That's certainly not going to happen during this administration, exactly for that reason. It's 100% loyalty or hit the road. And the grooming and intimidation has already taken place.

He got all that. The left wingers couldn't wrap their heads around the difference between an administrative process and a criminal process. They DEMANDED that KAG get criminal due process and now that's exactly what he and they are getting. Congratulations.

He was given a criminal sentence. Being sent to CECOT isn’t part of the (normal?) administrative deportation process.

The biggest lawbreaker in this sorry scenario is Trump himself.

You seem quite upset about getting what you said you wanted.
Not at all. I am glad that the Trump Administration followed court orders & that Garcia will have his day in court.

Why do you need to project things onto other people to satisfy your need to defend Lord Drumpf?

There were posters here who insisted he’s never coming back. Can’t remember who they were-but they were obviously dead wrong. Now he’ll get a chance to defend himself in court. I’ll accept whatever the court rules.
TACO Trump strikes again!

Jeebus Now I remember why I always get @Lutherf mixed up with another poster. They could be mirror images on denial...as in, it could be proven directly and sourced, word for word, and still be denied.

The other poster tried it by trying to deny Rock Creek wasnt publicly closed due sewage, with swimming banned, I guess to try and excuse RFK's swimming with his grandkids? Man, what a stinky, useless hill to die on.

If you are a visitor to this country you are here on a "privilege" basis. If you violate the terms of that privilege you can and should have that privilege removed. The INA is an administrative act, not a criminal one so 5th and 6th Amendment protections don't apply and since there isn't anything unreasonable about removing a person that violates their visitor privilege then the 4th doesn't apply either.

Deportation typically means being released into another country - not being imprisoned in that country.

I am not sure some every expected it would go the way it appears to be going. Be careful what you wish for ;)

You're right, Abbott actually did human trafficking with planes and
Garcia should be presumed innocent, but so should the prosecutors. It is entirely possible that an illegal immigrant violated some laws. Whether they are good laws is another question. The motivation may be persecution. And perhaps the charges really are made up to harass the man. But whatever the case may be, I feel better about having it decided in a U.S. court under U.S. law than under the care of some dictator who responds by posting "oopsie, too late" to Twitter.
LMAO no they shouldn't when over the last few months alone they've shown themselves to be lying pieces of trash.

Was it ever noted as to why the Trump Administration is litigating this in Tennessee?

Likely because that’s where he was pulled over with a truckload of folks he was (allegedly) trafficking (aka evidence).

Instead of admitting Trump lied to you about not being able to bring him back, ya'll need to pretend that liberals are "upset" that Trump did it. Devotion to the Lord of Drumpf never waivers
