How many people said that income tax on the lower classes would never happened? At the time of proposing and implementing the first income tax, a lot of them. This is true for many areas of government law. I look at all the people who kept saying that RvW would never be overturned, and now I say, "Told you so". I never wanted it to happen, but I keep saying don't say it will never happen. Because it very well could.

My statement was in reference to this being a Harris policy. I was not speaking of eternity. Something like this would require a Congressional bill and no way that happens in a split Congress.
