Justices signal they’ll OK new abortion limits, may toss Roe

Nature kills 2/3rds of a woman's fertilized eggs with nary a care in the world. For humans reproduction is not about quantity it is about quality. Banning abortion goes against nature. Women know this. Men are clueless about it and should never be the deciders.

No other animal thinks like humans do.

And yes, I showed you that when resources are low, when a female animal is threatened, many of them can essentially choose to absorb or abort an unborn offspring. I provided a link that said this. So in as much as an animal is able to "choose", they do in fact sometimes "choose" to have an abortion, absorb their offspring.

In nature, animals will kill other animals, including infants, newborns that are defective, offspring of a deposed male, and various other reasons. How is our not having the resources (not having money, emotional maturity, time to raise a child, even to be pregnant is equivalent to not having resources for humans) any different than the animals that abort for not having resources?

The plight of the younger women caused compassion to open a door, to help protect the girls from the scarlet letter tagging and the emotional and psychological harm this could bring.

We no longer have the same social dynamics. It is less about girls being the pawns in this sexual revolution, but about women trying to play like girls, but with the charms of adult women. Maybe it is time up the social standard. Women have more will power than the left is trying to pretend.

That's ludicrous.

All women hear is 'they should have kept their legs shut' and it's from men more than women when I read it here. Why would men be complaining about that if what you wrote was accurate? It means that there would be many many many fewer women for men to have sex with. And that's the opposite of what many men want...many want sex without entanglement.

And when the 'entanglement' part gets complicated with an unplanned pregnancy, which men do you think all of a sudden are looking forward to 18 years of child support or an unwanted marriage and a kid.

Any men with any sense...and that respected women...would support elective abortion 100%.

Are you claiming that men are stupid?

No other animals 'think' like humans however I studied this in college when I got my BS in natural resource management and have continued study on evolution and wildlife ever since.

Nature always selects for the reproductively mature over the juveniles. Juveniles have not yet reached their reproductive potential and as they are more vulnerable, have a much lower chance of survival. The female may sacrifice (kill) young that have much less chance of survival yet will take up valuable resources that she or others may need....in order to survive and reproduce in the future. They may also adsorb (spelled correctly) their unborn or miscarry under stress for the same reasons...genetic hormonal "programming" for the greatest chance of her genes being passed on.​

The mature adult capable of reproducing is always the better investment in nature.​

You can see how woman in our society may choose abortion for many of the same reasons: to enhance her own survival, future, and have a better chance of successfully raising children in that future. And IMO she is also the better investment for society for all the same reasons as mentioned above....she's already there, healthy (apparently), contributing to society, has more potential to reproduce in the future.​

At its basis sex is for reproduction, something way to many people have lost sight of IMO ..your pleasure should never trump responsibility.
 
I can't wait to see all the smug, self-righteous hypocrite 'christians' lining up to adopt these unwanted children, languishing in the state institutions they have condemned them to. They will be adopting them, won't they? After all life is precious...

You missed my point, no other animal can contemplate killing its unborn fetus. IMHO our intellect is taking us further and further away from our own nature and the nature around us. For that there will be reckoning, mother nature is just about fed up with us and our destructive ways IMO.

I disagree with quite a lot of this, but I have one thing to say.

It's true that no girl or woman has to have sex. If we were to go back to a society that banned abortion, girls and women could use that as a reason not to have it, but with a difference.

If sex is to be only for the purpose of procreation, then girls can decide not to date or have sex or marry but to study even harder, and women can decide the same. The jobs they get may not be equal; nonetheless, for the intelligent, they will be sufficient for self-support, meaning, and travel.

Why would they get married and have children if that threatened their well-being?

It is men who think they will still be getting sex who will be disappointed in the end.
