Justice Dept. Creating Unit Focused on Domestic Terrorism

WTF are you ranting about? You fascists bitched and moaned about others rioting until you LOST a fair election. Then violence became an act of normal, republican "speech".

I'm aware of what the teachers union claimed. I have yet to see credible evidence of said death threats. I was hoping you could shed some light on it.
If I had more information I would post it. I don't think it comes as any surprise that things got pretty heated at school board meetings. COVID fatigue is rampant. People are on edge. CRT was like gasoline on the fire of the vaccine and mask issues. Some people went too far. People serving on school boards suddenly felt very threatened. It is right that the government is stepping up oversight of these crimes. Nobody serving on a school board should feel threatened.

And those are not the only instances of domestic terrorism. Anti-government and white supremacy militias have become emboldened by Trump's encouragement. And they falsely believe the election was stolen. It wasn't. They think they have some mission to 'save America.' America would be just fine if they would back off and try to live a peaceful life like others.

There are a lot of mental people who have become radicalized through the internet and encouraged by right wing propaganda to be very angry at the government, minorities, immigrants, gays, trans people, and Democrats. I feel sorry for them. Their dream is impossible. They are never going to rid the nation of everyone they don't like! And that is not what America is all about. We are a diverse nation with many different cultures and races. That is not hurting America. That is our strength!

I think you'll find that insurrectionists, pipe bombers, white supremacists, fascists and those who want to overturn democracy at gunpoint to create a white ethno-state tend also to be political opponents. Funny how that works.

Look man, I agree with you that things got heated. But that isn't and wasn't the claim. The teachers union specifically and purposefully reached out to the Democratic supporters of the teachers union and boy did they ever respond. By calling concerned parents domestic terrorists.

If parents do not want their children taught or taught by CRT beliefs then they have every right to speak up. Personally, I am all for looking in to ways to keep public schools afloat, but currently only the affluent districts funded separately by monies from the richer districts are offering a good public school experience. And it likely isn't just the money that is driving that experience. The powers of the school system really need to look into why the public school system needs to keep reverting to allowing kids to pass upwards without knowledge of the curriculum that would get them passed on.

To me, this is the single biggest failure of the government to date, our failed and failing public school system, and no one has any answers.
 
The social dilemma of establishment induced unequal protection of the laws causing simple poverty is already before the Court in California. Unequal protection of the laws can be considered a mitigating or exculpatory circumstance regarding domestic intranquility in our several States.

Sure, there are plenty of power-hungry Democrats, and Biden is way too cozy with big banking. But the threat to our nation from Republicans far exceeds any beefs I have with Democrats.

One could say, OK, then support third party. Nope. Won't work. Things are too scattered. There are too many 'third parties.' No single third party has enough support to displace Republicans. Republicans are our biggest problem. Republicans are the biggest threat to the United States. Democrats are the only party with enough power to counter the Republican threat. So I support the Democratic Party.

My number one issue is Climate Change. That is the biggest all time threat to humanity. Republicans want to bury heads in sand. Republicans have got to be pushed out of power. Give Republicans enough rope and they will destroy the USA and the world. All this violence is inevitable. Republicans are so hooked on propaganda, have made hating a way of life, that they have become dangerous to peaceful Americans and our very government.

We should blame our legislators for their failure to Govern according to law.

The defense and protection of the state and of the United States is an obligation of all persons within the state. The legislature shall provide for the discharge of this obligation and for the maintenance and regulation of an organized militia.

If you (I and lots of others like me) the moderates and independents wanted to, we could wrest control from either of the parties and govern from the middle. Why don't we?

You have still yet to post the backing of why the domestic terrorist label (by the teachers union) got used, as it pertains to parents of kids that didn't want CRT taught to their children. And THEN, you can ponder why the DOJ and the FBI ever got involved in such.

We do blame them. It does no good. Even if they were all replaced, the replacements would be just as bad. It's the system. We have legalized corruption. That is what needs to be changed. Congress won't vote to end the legalized corruption. It can't be fixed in any easy way. There is a way, but it is difficult. Difficult, but not impossible. It involves a forgotten concept called delayed gratification. We work towards something that we can't immediately see results from. But if we keep at it and get enough other people involved the goal can be achieved. It might take decades. Probably will. It took decades for women to get the right to vote, but it worked. This can work the same way. We can rid our Congress of legalized corruption.

Here's how. Pass this. First, locally, then at the state level, and finally send anti-corruption candidates to Congress until there are enough to pass this at the national level: The American Anti-Corruption Act

Any city or town can pass this. It's not partisan. The media won't push it. Big money and powerful corporations don't want this. It has to be grass roots. This is power to the people. Make it happen in your town. Make it a thing. Force it to be an issue. No matter how long it takes. Even if it doesn't happen in our lifetimes, it will be worth it. After all, what candidate wants to take a stand favoring corruption? Make candidates take a stand against corruption. Get reporters to ask candidates if they are in favor of corruption.
