The announcement of the subpoena comes on the same day a U.S. federal judge denied the Justice Department's request to unseal grand jury transcripts related to one of Jeffrey Epstein's federal investigations ... with the judge claiming the department's request didn't meet any of the exceptions which would allow the release of such testimony.

No one asked for the Grand Jury transcripts. Trump conned you guys again - they don't need a judge to "unseal" the files the administration already has.

The Epstein list of men who have been accused by the victims are part of that grand jury transcript

I do not know. One could guess it was out of respect for the Office of the President. After all Trump was the out going President.

Might is well ask why Trump has not released the evidence of the rigged/stolen election. He has even said the Democrats tried to rig the 2024 election. Of course he has not presented any evidence.

They were sealed until Jan 24, at which point any exposure would have solicited endless whining from the MAGAsphere and violent outbursts from MAGA terrorists.

Not true.

I've already explained in this thread (or, maybe in that other thread) why releasing the files would be a bad idea.

Simply put, don't feed the Trump hating media beast. They will use any information to mount spin, speculation, innuendo and lies campaigns against Trump.

Oh, make no mistake there is plenty to attack trump on other then this.
This however will not go away anytime soon. Most normal people on the left and Right do not like child predators and this will be the line that Trump can;t come back from,

Trouble is that people like Kash Patel fanned the flames since 2023. Like the snake eating its own tail, the MAGA crowd got this ball rolling and this conspiracy has legs. There are a lot of questions yet unanswered
