Feminism is not a civic ideology, it is a religion.
And we're seeing evidence of that right now. Armed with firearms, male police officer kills woman who'd never presented a physical threat not for anyone, not just a woman, a veteran of the U.S. Air force, unarmed, at the time of the struggle for their civil rights, practically in an emphasis. Not a shot, aimed to wound and to stop illegal actions, but aiming in vital organs, that is to kill. This is a ready-made banner of feminism: a woman soldier, a woman patriot, a woman civil activist killed in the struggle for her rights.
But feminists all over the world are silent - it is not interesting, and there was no order.
And this is where the meaning of feminism as a religion is revealed - it is not a codified Abrahamic religion, where there is a main Text and its hierarchically structured interpretations, from which it is more or less clear where Christ is and where the Antichrist is, where the righteous are and where the heretics are.
Feminism as a religion-shamanism. Somewhere out there, on the top of the sacred mountain of New York, sits the Supreme Chuchundra (in feathers and with a tambourine - everything is as it should be) she decides, who is a good person and who is an evil spirit, there are no rules, there are only revelations of Chuchundra. Through the New York Times, the Supreme Chuchundra proclaims his revelations, which are Truth, great and unquestionable. The revelations say that this was the wrong woman - an evil spirit, and the Gods do not tell us to mourn her.
