Perhaps you should read what I actually posted better. I'm saying that this was before the actual storming of the Capitol took place, unlike what it is being described as so should be described more accurately. Don't make up shit like Trump and his cronies do.Are you saying that once again, trump and his intelligence people were to stupid to know what was about to happen, come on now.
It's more plausible trump ordered the Capitol police to stand down. Dangerous man!
Also, I think the failure with the Capitol police lays somewhere in their chain of command, leadership having someone or multiple someones who support Trump and/or wanted to prove some stupid, petty point about lack of police in relation to stripping funding or "defunding" police. They purposely sabotaged the situation, either knowing that it would be a problem and/or not caring, but figuring that this would "show them" (the Dems) and/or perhaps help Trump. It will take investigation to find out more, but this is the most likely scenario from the info we have.
I certainly know that Trump is dangerous and incited this, but one of the things I hate a lot about Trump is his lying and misinformation campaigning, which means people against Trump should not resort to it.
