Just in case you think they aren't really Marxists.

What about it? You think latin Americans are inferior or evil or something? What other groups do you want to ban from immigrating? Jews perhaps? Asians?
Put a pause on everyone until we are back on our feet. Tell us why we need a load of Somali's? How will they advance the USA in our current situation.

Look what Lenin did with it. His successors sure didn't create a utopia with it.

What is stylish now is being anti-capitalist.
And look what it was like with kids working in coal mines under Adam Smith's philosophy. He didn't create a Utopia either, and capitalism needed to be "anti-ed" a bit by FDR here and others elsewhere in order to save it. These are philosophies, theories of how economies and societies work. Neither is a blueprint for tyranny, no matter how the principles therein have been abused in monstrous ways.

To Trumplicans, "Marxism" means "anything Democrats want".

Its not even that sophisticated. To these guys, Marxism just means “things that are yucky”. For example:

“I hate broccoli. It’s so Marxist!”

I thought it was just so we could first see what was going on with the Syria situation. How come I suspect there is always going to be something we can say “put a pause on it until...” to?

We have a middle class, the envy of most nations. Something the commies never achieved.

... which only came about with things like child labor laws, minimum wage laws, and unionization of workers. Before that, you had robber barons and the 8-year-olds they were putting to work in coal mines for 80 hours a week, and who still weren’t getting enough to eat.

"The Constitution is steeped in white supremacy! It MUST be destroyed!" - New Wave Democrats
I think it's much more punk rock anarchists.

No one, unless they come as legal immigrants or legit asylum seekers. Got a link? Some years ago, the Wall Street Journal called for open borders, but they referred to all nationalities based on free market economics, I believe. Aside from that I don't know of any person or party that wishes what you ask, though I suppose tens of thousands of Latin Americans might.
No one? Why shouldn't people be able to migrate?

Many are in awe of marxism....we have thousands in military cemeteries who fought conflicts to keep communism from spreading. Now we let it into our universities.

We have thousands in our military cemeteries who fought to crush the Confederacy, yet the Trump cult idolizes said slaver thugs.

Oh, Marxism is alive and well here in the US. Nowhere more so than academia.

"In these studies, economics was downplayed, and other key aspects of the Marxist worldview came to the fore. The Marxist class war doctrine was still emphasized. But instead of capital versus labor, it was the patriarchy versus women, the racially privileged versus the marginalized, etc. Students were taught to see every social relation through the lens of oppression and conflict.

After absorbing Marxist ideas (even when those ideas weren’t called “Marxist”), generations of university graduates carried those ideas into other important American institutions: the arts, media, government, public schools, even eventually into human resources departments and corporate boardrooms. (This is known as “the long march through the institutions,” a phrase coined by Communist student activist Rudi Dutschke, whose ideas were influenced by early twentieth-century Marxist theoretician Antonio Gramsci.)"

We’re doomed! Who would have thought that a libertarian organization would say that Marxism has infected everything? Will wonders never cease? Next we’ll read that Black Lives Matter preaches that racism is a significant problem.

We are not talking about broccoli, we are talking about the indoctrination of the kids in school. Its neo marxism not because its icky, but because it is literally neo marxism applied as prescribed. Critical Theory. NOT an examination of society but an attempt to shape it. Its a recognition that marx was wrong about the proletariat revolution that would be the natural evolution that would bring down capitalism, and a recognition of the need for the intelligentsia to first indoctrinate the masses.

"...a defense of "negative thinking" as a disrupting force against the prevailing positivism.[1]
...champions non-integrated forces of minorities, outsiders, and radical intelligentsia, attempting to nourish oppositional thought and behavior through promoting radical thinking and opposition....
Modern industrial societies have furthermore created an "affluent society", which in increasing comfort have disguised the exploitative nature of the system, and have therefore strengthened means of domination and control. Modern "affluent society" therefore limits opportunities for political revolution against capitalism."

pushing this critical theory/BLM crap. Add to the above Hollywood, mainstream media, the tech companies and recently the large corporations who are fearful of the reaction of the rest of the intelligentsia if they dont comply. .

So it sounds like Marxism is being re-defined as watching out for groups in positions of vulnerability, and that’s horrible because...?

John Steinbeck had one of his characters say something like “a communist is any son of a bitch who asks for forty cents an hour when I am paying thirty.” Insert “Marxist” instead of “communist” to get the drift of Grandpappy’s argument.

Attempting to protect the vulnerable: Trump wanted to protect manufacturing and coal workers against the forces of the free market and technological advance. Was that wrong?

It's there any one poster here that has bought what Rush and Sean sold more than the OP?

It's why they are so dangerous.

As has probably been pointed out to you previously, when you and others on the right call literally everyone left of center a communist and marxist, you can't be expected to be taken seriously if you actually try to have a conversation on what marxism is.

We’re doomed! Who would have thought that a libertarian organization would say that Marxism has infected everything? Will wonders never cease? Next we’ll read that Black Lives Matter preaches that racism is a significant problem.

BLM preaches the application of the Ferguson riots nationwide.

"When it was time for us to leave, inspired by our friends in Ferguson, organizers from 18 different cities went back home and developed Black Lives Matter chapters in their communities and towns — broadening the political will and movement building reach catalyzed by the #BlackLivesMatter project and the work on the ground in Ferguson.
It became clear that we needed to continue organizing and building Black power across the country. People were hungry to galvanize their communities to end state-sanctioned violence against Black people, the way Ferguson organizers and allies were doing.

True, there are actual neo marxist in academia and their followers in the population, but I suspect 80% of the left would more accurately be characterized as the neo marxist useful idiots, not aware of what is going on.

Where in your post is there evidence of a call to riot by BLM?

RIGHT HERE
"the way Ferguson organizers and allies were doing."

Combined with my personal knowledge of "the way" they did it in Ferguson.

"The Ferguson unrest (sometimes called the Ferguson uprising, Ferguson protests, or Ferguson riots) in Ferguson, Missouri, involved protests and riots beginning on August 10, 2014, the day after the fatal shooting of Michael Brown by police officer Darren Wilson."

Starting with the false propaganda of "Hands up, don't shoot" allegedly did and said by Brown as he was shot. NOT because that is what Michael Brown had actually had done and said but instead "attempting to nourish oppositional thought and behavior through promoting radical thinking and opposition...." RIOTS in the street based upon the false belief that the police are out to kill people becasue they are black. Little creepy in how effective they have been.

Key phrase here:

"Students were taught to see every social relation through the lens of oppression and conflict."

Do you agree with that?

One idiot to another, tell us what is “going on.” Social Security? Medicare? The ACA?

These are the people that "educate", or more accurately, indoctrinate our kids.
Terrifying.

"Pacheco then argued that the United States is a political regime based on “settler colonialism,” which he describes as a “system of oppression” that “occupies and usurps land/labor/resources from one group of people for the benefit of another.” The settler colonialist regime, Pacheco continues, is “not just a vicious thing of the past, but [one that] exists as long as settlers are living on appropriated land.” The white colonialist regime of the United States is a “parasitic system” responsible for domestic violence, drug overdoses, and other social problems. In a related PowerPoint slide, Pacheco presented examples of this oppression, including “men exploiting women,” “white people exploiting people of color,” and “rich people exploiting poor people.”
So you us one example to damn the whole country?
