I was wondering what was happening in his Chapter 11 bankruptcy case. Now I know. Rudy’s dodging and non-cooperation with the court and his creditors not only got his case dismissed, but got him a 12-month ban by the judge from filing another bankruptcy petition.

I’ve worked dozens of bankruptcy cases as a creditor, all different chapters, even a 15. Normally, when a debtor gets dismissed from a bankruptcy, they turn right around and refile, so you don’t immediately try to collect on claims or judgments. The stay goes into place the second the filing is complete, so you don’t waste your time.

Most judges are debtor’s judges. Debtor’s get a lot of leeway, no matter how crooked they may be. But Rudy didn’t just get his wrist slapped here, he got bent over and kicked hard into next year. Good for his creditors.

  • Judge dismissed Rudy's claims to delay or dismiss transfer of assets, sports memorabilia, shares in property, watches, vehicles etc. handed over within 7 days.
  • Judge decided to hold on decision for a Palm Beach condo for another week

Personal comment: Rudy clearly had quite the collection of watches. Too bad he'll be losing them all. He apparently made a claim that a watch from his grandfather should be exempted, but the Court held him to account for taking steps to protect such assets should a recovery later be mandated, and said that unless Rudy can show that it is worth less than $1K in which case it may be exempted from NY law, he'll be handing that over as well.

If Trump actually gave a shit about anyone but himself you'd think he'd let this guy just stay at one of his places for free but he doesn't so he won't.
A lesson here for all the Trump toadies, Trump doesn't care how much you kiss his ass he will completely disown you the second you aren't useful to him any more.

EVERYTHING Trump does is transactional.

He didn't pardon any J6ers in the 2 weeks he had available, but he did pardon Blagoiovich, the democrat ex-governor of Illinois. Whose family is loaded.

Guiliani stopped being useful, and frankly Trump never really liked him much anyway.

Good the Court is enforcing it's ruling, and ensuring he pays what he owes to the people he harmed.

Over and over we see those who do Trump's bidding go down in flames. What is the attraction of this man to see so many otherwise intelligent rational people follow him like the pied piper?

After this election is over maybe trump will recieve his comeuppance.
