If you claim to know so much then how exactly do you plan to treat gender dysphoria in children and teens, or do you plan to deny it exist until they are 18 and then suddenly your eyesight returns and you decide to treat them as medically required? How many kids lives do you plan to sacrifice in your transphobic ideals? Or don't they matter until they are 18?

What is your source of information on this subject because its very obvious that conservatives do not post the sources of their anti-transgender bias.

- Riley Gaines tied Lia Thomas in a swimming competition for fifth place, and then got "embarrassed" because she wasn't allowed to stand on the 5th place podium for a photo op. After she tied for fifth, she decided to use Thomas as a means to get wealthy. If Gaines didn't tie Thomas, she would have gone to dental school.

- Lia Thomas placed 1st, 8th, and 5th in the national swimming competitions. Even she didn't dominate all of her events.

- Payton McNabb got a concussion after a transgender female spiked a volleyball in her face. But it turns out, her sporting career wasn't over and turned into a great athlete in college.

- Concussions and head injuries happen all the time in sports.

- There was a complaint filed against a transgender female San Jose State player for having an 80 mile per hour spike speed. It turns out it was only 50 miles per hour, which wasn't even near the record-holders or the fastest in the Mountain West Conference.

- No transgender females have won any scholarships to any university. In the case of the two Connecticut transgender runners, the complaint was that they stole scholarship opportunity from the other competitors, when the reverse was true.

- The number of transgender females in sports is very very small. Not every transgender female who competes, wins medals or races. States who tried to ban transgender females from women's sports fail to show any example of a transgender female dominating a single female sport within their state.

- The Right loves to use the "800 medals" stat in discussions and political debate. They claim it came from the U.N. It turns out it did not actually come from the UN, but a website which asked people submit competitions from across the world, where a transgender female beat a genetic female in an event. These events includes poker and Irish dancing. Plus, the metal counts feature duplication of events and counting a first place finish as three medals. Some of the examples submitted feature people who do not object to transgender females in women's sports.

- The debate isn't really about "fairness". Women's sports are extremely underfunded and feature poor quality fields. The Right's main objection is to deny transgender people their right to exist, and sports is their avenue for success. They do not care about women's sports or their safety.

- Youth sports are fine. They are about social development. Professional sports we need to look more into the impact.

I don't care if only one man is playing in women's sports and he finishes last in everything. It is ****in wrong as wrong can be.

When transgender kids are under 18 years of age/whatever the age of majority is in other countries, they are victims being groomed and brainwashed into wanting to be trans by their wicked attention seeking-parents and crank medical professionals who must be making bank off of performing gender confirming treatments, or other kids at school. It's not even that the aim is to misinform their right wing followers. Their real aim is to make their minions angry as hell. In fact it's even more than just that. They want the minions to actually hate the left. Fox has been using this technique for decades. Often they even make sure that the hate is misdirected to suit their political aims. HRT does eliminate any male advantage when it is started during puberty, which is the case in high school transgender athletes. They never had a male puberty and their bodies never masculanized, so there is no advantage.

WHY Fox focuses on the rare stories that pop up on this issue, and then go out of their way to cue the outrage. Same as nightly examples of blacks committing crimes. Same as carrying on for months when some citizen of the US was killed by an illegal.
The idea by the Right is to create a narrative. Transgenders are evil, illegals are evil, black people are evil. They won't say those words, but there have been multiple threads created to cry about transgenders playing female sports. And in each of those threads the rhetoric, the hateful attacks, the small-minded comments were so over the top that I can only imagine those making them are filled with hate and intolerance.

So, let me repeat, transgenders playing female sports is wrong but there needs to be a civil discussion on how to handle that. Like their own category. However, I won't rant and rave day in and day out or post multiple threads bemoaning this phenomenon just because I got outraged by Fox and rightwing media over incidents that have effected a tiny percentage of the population. I would state my opinion as I have done here, but won't go into a transphobic tirade because I need to be outraged about something.

Transgender males are female to (FtM)male. What you are referring to in post#44 is a male to female (MtF) trans female. Details matter to me.
