John Bolton’s Notes Indicate U.S. Troop Deployment An Option On Venezuela

International partnerships are not evil.

And Chavez died when vs. the Obama sanctions? 2013/2015 Therefore the downturn precedent the sanctions. As I said.

And Maduros money was Maduro's money.

actually, you are wrong

https://www.rt.com/news/449833-venezuela-gold-bank-england/

As you see, it plainly says these are VENEZUELAN reserves, not Maduro's money....and it is gold to be specific.

international alliances are evil when they are to do regime change in a country that has not attacked anyone....so if someone doesn't like the US leadership...can they set an alliance and there fore are justified to bomb the beejezus out of us for that? It is none of our damn business who or how they run their country...after all Venezuela is a soveriegn nation.

Of course RUSSIA TIMES says it's Venezuela's money....

RT isn't known for it's truthfullness in cases like this.

And we were talking about a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COUNTRY partnering with NATO and not Valenzuela. NATO partnering with other nations isn't evil.

Also on your link....

Venezuelan lawmaker Jose Guerra dropped a bombshell on Twitter Tuesday: The Russian Boeing 777 that had landed in Caracas the day before was there to spirit away 20 tons of gold from the vaults of the country’s central bank.

So Maduro want gold in England returned while he ships tons of gold out of Venezuela to Russia....

Hmmmmm

Why would that be?

Exit strategy?

gold that belongs to Venezuela, not him.

Your OPINION is noted.

It isn't my opinion, it is the fact written by every major news source reporting on it. Do you have evidence that the gold is personally belonging to Maduro and he had that gold before he robbed his way to the presidency? Remind yourself, I am someone who knows quite a bit about what is going on in Latin America....what is happening in Venezuela, does not justify an invasion, but that gold belongs to the government of Venezuela and the people of Venezuela, not to Maduro....before Maduro became president he was a TRUCK DRIVER.

Wow...

Maduro is complaining about not being able to ship gold into Venezuela... While he is shipping gold out of Venezuela.

That doesn't sound dodgy to you?

WASHINGTON ― Trump administration officials maintained Monday that “all options” ― including the use of military force ― are on the table concerning its attempts to remove Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro from power. And if National Security Adviser John Bolton’s notebook is to be believed, deploying troops to the region may be closer to reality than not.

During a White House press briefing meant to detail new sanctions on Maduro and Venezuela’s state-owned oil company, Bolton was photographed holding a yellow legal pad that read, “5,000 troops to Colombia,” a country sharing a border with Venezuela.
===============================================
I could see this coming some time ago: armed intervention in Venezuela to achieve regime change, though they will likely call it 'bringing liberty & stability to the poor people of Venezuela.'

To be fair this was about having the all options on the table thing. However, it would be better if America stays out of this. Maduro has gotten enough rope to hang himself so it's better if the US just sits back and enjoy the fruits of socialism.

Is it our job to invade countries because people are hungry? If that is the case, why haven't we invaded Honduras? oh, that is right, no oil...

V. is the richest country on the earth , your commies turned it into bumistan

first off, I am not a communist and I am not Venezuelan. I do not support the government of Maduro...I simply do not support us invading every damn country on earth, just because.

He tried to withdraw funds, who knows where they wanted to send them...the UK froze the assets that the govt of Venezuela has deposited...so, too bad, so sad.

This is a rather simplistic interpretation of our concerns in Venezuela.

Did Bolton know the media was there? Yes. Is Bolton experienced enough to know which way to hold his notepad? Yes.

What does that mean? He wanted this to be seen.

Moving on...

That was my first instinct too. A setup.

actually, it isn't simplistic...our only interest is oil...our government doesn't give one $#@t about the people who are starving in Venezuela....what they really care about is the fact that there is oil there....if they cared...we would have went in and removed Juan Orlando Hernandez in Honduras, long ago....after all we do have his BROTHER for drug trafficking....problem is, we don't care, because they don't have oil....

read up? I lived in a Latin American country that had close association with Venezuela for 22 years...why would I need to google what I already know?

God Bless you then.

Trump knows everything too.

It is worse in Honduras...Honduras is certainly not Finland. The rate people are being hacked to death by their own government in Honduras is outrageous...and yes, worse than Venezuela...so again, why would you invade Venezuela but not Honduras
