And all this time I thought it was Fox News who was lying to me when it turns out it was MSNBC and CNN all along! (but... but... but... Joe Rogan believes in dragons and licks Trump's nutsack!) :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

'I was just reading something about CNN's ratings and MSNBC's ratings post-election - they've crashed,' The Joe Rogan Experience podcast host said.

Podcaster Joe Rogan dunked on left-wing media for losing viewers as many Americans have grown distrustful and wary of their bias.

Rogan spoke on his podcast about a recent op-ed from billionaire Amazon founder and Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos, headlined, "The hard truth: Americans don’t trust the news media."

He summarized the piece as "essentially saying that you have to take divergent viewpoints, you have to take a bunch of different perspectives, we can't just be this left-wing echo chamber, and it's the reason why the business is faltering."

Bill O'Reilly said it better, paraphrase - "Journalism is dead in America. It doesn't matter what party or ideology you support, it is dead on both sides. In all the years I have been in broadcasting, over 50 years, the way you produced news was this - You get a story, you have a large staff of journalist to first go out and vet the story. Is there more than one source? Get them on record telling what they know. Reach out to whoever the story is about, get their take. And then - most important, validate what everyone tells you. That is gone. No one does any of that now. All they do is hear a story - and go straight to air with it, then bring in commentary that is going to talk about it as if it is 100% true."

BOTH SIDES.

If society decides collectively that we want decline for the next four years, we will get what we ask for. This is not as complicated as some want to make it out to be. We are simply allowing our selfishness, shortsightedness, and greed take over.

Turns out telling everyone but liberals they are wrong, on everything, only to find out they were all wrong about election predictions, then doubling down that everyone else is wrong but them once the loss set in, turns away viewers... who knew?

Republicans are terrible for the working class, but unlike Democrats, they speak the language of the working class. They are more relatable. They don't virtue signal. The Democrats are the part of compassion, but compassion doesn't win elections - strength does. Republicans are assholes, but they're perceived as strong assholes.

IMO, their ratings have crashed because the faithful are disheartened over the scale of Trump's victory and are most likely doing everything they can to ignore the pain, and that includes avoiding the news. Facing up to reality of a difficult situation is not exactly a distinguishing characteristic of the Progressive left.

When the Trump administration starts having its problems -- as every administration does -- they'll be back with cries of "see, we warned you!"

Talk of XNBC is trending

Rogan is joking about taking Maddow's slot.

I make no illusions about Republicans and the working class, more commenting on why the message from CNN and MSNBC did not help Democrat's case on the matter.

One of the benefits of working from home is having various networks on throughout the day, off and on paying attention, but I get my fair share of information from across the lot of networks. In watching these guys throughout the election season there was wave after wave of commentary on how Trump could not possibly win, early on into the election coverage the tone was all positive with way too many premature victory laps. Then, it started to feel like 2016 all over, and you could tell the tone swap to one of accusation and stun at the rest of the evening.

Liberal leaning media spent way too long lost in the world of they are right, everyone else is wrong, no possible way Harris loses... then... crushed handing Trump the White House and all of the next Congress in his back pocket.

We've had hundreds of threads in the forum and they all read like a blame everyone else tour in the making.

And people wonder why the message from CNN and MSNBC lost viewership... this is no zero sum game, Republicans are not necessarily right in all they are saying including economics and the working class but Democrats were clearly wrong on just about all of it.

Maybe Trump is just Andy Kaufman in a wrestling match. He can only win if his opponent is a girl.
I know you’re not suggesting a “girl” is a lesser opponent, right?

How much did Fox pay?

Let's get real here... Fox News Owners and Executives admitted in Court under oath that they ran stories they knew were fabrications. And they didn't lose any market share!!

So we're not exactly talking about high-wattage intellects for right-wing media audiences here. Not a whole lot of light coming from the "wrasslin' is real" crowd.

Ratings does not equal quality. William Hung sold over 1 million albums. Jerry Springer was on the air for 20 years. That doesn't mean they were quality.

Agreed.

When the Trump administration starts having its problems -- as every administration does -- they'll be back with cries of "see, we warned you!"
But of course.

I'd further the obvious dishonesty in the MSM by pointing out this list of propaganda driven narratives they've in less than the last decade.
  • 'The Steel dossier is real'?
  • 'Hunter's laptop was Russia disinformation'?
  • 'Inject bleach'?
  • 'Joe's just fine'?
  • 'Joe's on top of his game'?
  • 'Russian Collusion'?
  • 'Trump's a Russian asset'?
  • The assassination attempt was staged.
  • Trump was not actually injured by a bullet or at all.
  • the “Muslim ban” that wasn’t?
  • the mantra that the 2017 tax cuts were only for the “rich”
  • the Ukraine impeachment of Trump, a creative fiction based on a complaint from an anonymous member of the swamp who never testified
  • The Capitol Hill riot on Jan. 6 was an “armed insurrection”
  • President Trump referred to Nazis and White supremacists as “very fine people.”
  • President Trump “incited” the riot
  • President Trump wanted to End NATO
  • The border is secure
  • Don't say gay laws
  • Jim Crow 2.0
  • Inflation is transitory
  • Trump is a fascist
  • Violent crime is falling
When each of these narratives, pushed by the Dem's MSM propagandists, fell, were proven false, the Dem's MSM propagandists destroyed their own credibility, as is shown in their falling trust and credibility polling results.

The Dem's MSM propagandists have destroyed themselves and rendered themselves irrelevant, the greatest irony being it was of their own violation, by their own actions and public statements. They have no one else to blame for their failing and irrelevant lot in life but themselves.

We are already seeing them whine about it, but this isn't demonstrating any insight or introspection, in fact, it is showing exactly the opposite.
