Any American with their eyes and ears open during this Trump/Putin administration can see that Trump incites and encourages violence and division, against immigrants, people of color, non-Christians, etc....you name it! If it's not one of his cult followers, who is white and Christian (even though he's not), then he will name call, insult, slander and promote violence. Those who claim they do not see that are being deceptive.

Trump has been campaigning on fear, he preys on gullible fools who fear African Americans, Mexicans, Muslims, gays, etc. Some white trash inbreds were weak and gullible enough to swallow his BS. Trump loves the uneducated, so easy for the fool to manipulate. Trump is adding fuel to the fire in these protests, blaming the victims, and defending the vigilantes, White Supremacists and all his white racist worshipers. The big takeaway is he said he's in it for everyone, regardless of party affiliation. trump is most certainly not and has shown he's only willing to appeal to and help one side.

A fun freudian slip in the first two minutes: did anyone else notice Joe say the president is 'stroking violence.' The repubs can have fun with that.

Given the 2016 attitude of the Nation toward the establishment R party, Trump was the best possible candidate.

No, you are right in one thing at least, Donald Trump is not the exact same as Biden, because Biden is, was and will always be a mostly honest and honorable man, whereas Trump is none of those things, not honest and most certainly not honorable. If you listened to the speech, you might hear that he specifically said,

"I believe if I were president today, the country would be safer and we’d see a lot less violence and here’s why: I have said we must address the issue of racial injustice"

That is -- actually listening to the protestors, and addressing the issues they are concerned about. If he can make protestors feel that their concerns are heard and genuinely work towards a plan that both sides feel is fair, perhaps those opportunist mobs would diminish. On the other hand, he could continue Trump's approach of threatening more troops, tear gas, beat downs, and encouraging far right factions to go out with guns and add more fuel to the fire, but we can see these results haven't gotten us very far.

The violent mobs on both sides are absolutely unacceptable, and Joe has clearly agreed. Has Trump?
