The Southern District of NY may actually buck the DOJ system and indict Trump. Unlike Robert Mueller, the SDNY cannot be fired. And, the SDNY isn't going to take two years before we see something happen, they're going to be working at warp speed, enough to make the heads of every Trump supporter spin like Linda Blair in the Exorcist.

For all my liberal and democratic friends....Remember all those times over the past two years that our mouths opened up with shock and we thought, 'holy **** this is so bad, he's going to be impeached!'? Then, nothing happened and the shock wore off and we moved onto the next shocking thing that we were certain would ring alarm bells and whistles, but it didn't.

We understand much better now than we did back then, that the fawning Republican toadies in Congress were not about to rock the boat and had no intention to investigate anything that would negatively affect Trump or themselves. In my own opinion, I call it the biggest conspiracy in the United States. As long as their party is elevated and they 'win' politically it didn't matter one bit that Jared Kushner was trading favors with Saudi Arabia, giving them U.S. top secrets in exchange for money for his family businesses. It didn't matter that election fraud was happening particularly in N. Carolina with the most blatant Congressional election fraud in recent history (other than the one orchestrated by the Russians to help Trump win the presidency).

All those times we knew that Trump was profiting off the presidency and violating the emoluments clause as was his daughter Ivanka gifted her Chinese patents or Kushner secretly cooperating with Mohammed bin Salmon to ignore the fact that he ordered the murder of Khasoggi. And we still remember wondering how Kushner got away with trying to set up a secret back channel between himself and Russian spy Kisylak. All this bullsthit for more than 2 years that SHOULD have initiated at least inquiries never did, thanks to the traitorous Republicans in Congress.

So now the right is going to cry and say the Democrats are witch hunting and blah blah blah, when in fact they're only doing what the Republicans SHOULD have done and were derelict in the duty they swore to do, uphold the laws of this country and abide by the Constitution.

I just have one thing to say collectively to conservatives and Trump supporters when it comes to the onslaught of hearings and testimonies and indictments that are right around the corner. It's our time now, and finally justice may be coming;

That's what the libs like to do. Look back at the Kav hearings, the libs made fools of themselves. Christ three woman accuse Kav of sexual misconduct that had not one shred of corroboration. And all the looney left believed those idiots. Kav was accused of being the leader of gang rape, he spiked the punch to get the woman drunk so that Kav and his gang could rape them. What a discrass by the libs. Guess what Kav is not a SCJ in spite of the libs trying to kill him and his family.

Now they bring on Cohen a convicted criminal, which not one prosecutor on this planet would use as a witness to testify for anything. Yet the grandstanders made fools of themselves.

Now they want to bring in Trump's kids and have another grandstanding spectacle. And that will be on top of Mueller's report that will not show Russia/Trump collusion.

Now you know how your party is grandstanding
 



Now that you've had your tit-for-tat moment, please explain how what took place during the Michael Cohen hearing was grandstanding by the Democrats OR how calling those individuals Cohen named as possibly being complicit during said hearings can be characterized as "grandstanding"?

Seems to be it was the Republicans on the panel - Rep's Meadows, Jordon and Wiggins - not Democrats who were attempting to put on a performance during Cohen's hearing.

It was grandstanding if I ever saw one. All that stuff Cohen said is already know by Mueller and the prosecutors in NY. Cohen has been working daily with the NY prosecutors to try to get an earlier release date. Mueller and NY knows all this stuff a long time ago.
 

It would also be nice to see Republicans stop supporting a criminal in the Whitehouse. There is a good reason that we require our Presidents to comply with our laws. We put far too much trust in a President to risk a law breaker in that office.
 

And now the American people get to know it too. That is a purpose of oversight.

It's weird that you think these are the people next in line after Ivanka and Jared. I suppose when one has no idea what these people do, because they don't do much of anything, one would think they're on the same level as folks doing the more menial tasks at the WH.

first, congratulations on waking up from your 10 year coma. Let me get you up to speed real quick. republicans investigated anything and everything at the drop of a hat under President Obama. There is actual evidence that trump, his family and associates are involved in numerous criminal enterprises and trump is clearly compromised by Putin so that's why they are being investigated. I know that Mueller is finished with Cohen, and all that Cohen had to offer. No added indictments from Mueller or form NY. And they had all this info a long time ago. What the American people got to know is just how crooked and a liar that dumbass lawyer was. There is not a prosecutor on this planet that would use Cohen as a witness for the prosecution. Christ he even lied about him not wanting a job at the WH. He's a pathological liar. I know Cohen was one of your key guys that Mueller had that was spill the beans on Russia/Trump collusion. Now the American People got to know there was no collisions with Russia/Trump, or was he lying???????

Hell if I know, but now your heard from the Crooks mouth there was no Russia/Trump collusion. In fact every investigation has proved that. Now what do you do to get Trump? Go after the kids, and their kids and the wife, ex wives, email, bank accounts. Everyone around Trump has been investigated. But you'll find something and that will be your next. NOW we got one of the ex wives and she is going to spill the beans on Trump, we have all this evidence and it points somewhere.
 

So, Cohen provided a rehash of much of what we already know. What has his actions, his emotional outbursts, his hype have to do with how the Democrats on the panel conducted themselves? I watched pretty much the entire hearing. While there were some moments where things got heated, most the reactions by Democrats were in response to how Republicans on the panel conducted themselves.

Now, if you're trying to claim that the entire hearing was a big waste of time, I would disagree with you. Again, Cohen may have rehashed some things we already knew or went into greater detail about things we knew a little of, but one thing that wasn't previously known were those checks and who wrote them. That, my friend, the GOP nor Trump will not be able to explain away no matter how hard they try.

There is not one prosecutor on this planet that would use Cohen as a witness to testify to anything. The defence would make a fool of them. But the liberals had to get this guy back in the public eye to make themselves look good. In fact they looked like fools. Just like they did in the Kav hearings. And they will continue this grandstanding up to the 2020 election and beyond.

You talking about campaign finance laws. I've never seen anyone convicted of that.

But the most important thing that Cohen said, "there was no Russia/Trump collusion. Or was he lying. Every investigation into Russia/Trump collusion has come to the same conclusion, NO Russia/Trump collusion. In spite of 2 yrs. from the liberals that they have all this evidence and Mueller was going to roll over every person he indicted to kill Trump. Never happened.

After 2 yr you libs have come up empty handed in spite of all the investigations. What's next bring in Trumps kids and their kids, ex wives and their kids, any relative they can find, dig into all as far back as necessary personal e-mails, go over the last 20 yrs of projects Trump was involved in. I'm sure you can find something to continue your grandstanding in front of the American People to make fools of yourselves.

If they discussed an upcoming crime (tax evasion, campaign violations, bank fraud, etc.) privilege does not apply. Not even a lawyer is allowed to claim privilege if it is about an ongoing or future crime. It's called conspiracy, and that is a crime.
 

Do you know what a sealed indictment is? Do you know why it is sealed and secret?

Cohen named names. Are you going to call those folks pathological liars as well when they corroborate Cohen's testimony? When they produce documentary evidence that Trump was aware of and even ordered the bank fraud, the insurance fraud, and the tax evasion, are you going to dismiss that as well?

Did Cohen say "I know for a fact there was no collusion,"? No, Cohen said he had "no knowledge of collusion." To your mind, that proves there was no collusion. Interesting.
