It was the Israeli police that recommended Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu be indicted on bribery, fraud and other charges, accusing him of trading regulatory favors for fawning news coverage, in what is potentially the most damaging of a series of corruption cases against him. I think that the accusation of genocidal war monger and Netanyahu being indicted are mutually exclusive. As long as Palestinians keep firing rockets into Israel, and keep calling for Israel's extermination, Israel will keep defending itself, no matter who holds power there. Is what Israel is doing a knee-jerk reaction? Yes, but I totally understand it. Let's never forget that Palestinians joined in 2 separate attempts to invade Israel and destroy that nation, and are still today committing terrorist acts against Israel. They are reaping what they have been sowing.
