Whoops! He let the mask slip!

Former Israeli Knesset member Moshe Feiglin quoted Adolf Hitler as he called for Israel to resettle the Gaza Strip and create a "Hebrew Gaza."

Feiglin, who quit Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud Party to found the right-wing Zehut Party and plans to challenge Likud in Israel's next elections, made the comments during a panel discussion on Israel's Channel 12 that was shared on social media on Sunday, as Middle East Eye reported.

"We are not guests in our country, this is our country, all of it..." Feiglin said, adding, "As Hitler said, 'I cannot live if one Jew is left.' We can't live here if one 'Islamo-Nazi' remains in Gaza."

I suppose he forgot he was on live television and not a closed-door Zehut meeting.
That video I shared in the other thread is almost more relevant here somehow too, as part of the bit is the Nazi character being proud of the Jews for becoming Nazis themselves.

Former Israeli MK Moshe Feiglin quoted Adolf Hitler while commenting on the war in Gaza saying: "We can't live in this land if one Islamo-Nazi remains in Gaza," while speaking to Channel 12 news.

Feiglin continued, saying that Jews "are not guests in our own land, it is entirely ours," adding that he wants to "turn Gaza Hebrew."...

At a pre-election meeting that year [2019], Feiglin said: "Don't talk to me about international law, because there is not such a thing. You know, the minute you use the word 'Palestinian,' you stop saying the truth. Because there is no Palestinian nation, and they know it…once you said that this is Palestine, and once you said there are Palestinian people in this Palestine – once you said that, you created something that does not appear in reality. And now there is no solution."...

I can see why Feiglin quotes Hitler.

I can see why Feiglin quotes Hitler.

I love how he refers to himself as a 'libertarian zionist.'

Also, this isn't the first time he referred to Hitler in a positive light:

In an article in Haaretz, Yossi Sarid quoted Feiglin, in the context of demonstrations against the Oslo accords, as saying, "Hitler was an unparalleled military genius. Nazism promoted Germany from a low to a fantastic physical and ideological status. The ragged, trashy youth body turned into a neat and orderly part of society and Germany received an exemplary regime, a proper justice system and public order. Hitler savored good music. He would paint. This was no bunch of thugs. They merely used thugs and homosexuals." Feiglin clarified his position to the Maariv newspaper that just because he considers Hitler a military genius, this does not mean he admires him.[1]

What a piece of trash human being...

The more I read about Feiglin the more I'm convinced he's the stereotypical right 'libertarian' who is actually a fascist that wants to legally smoke weed.

lol

It is a bit hard to walk back such a glowing review of Nazi Germany. So he doesn't admire Hitler, but thinks he was a military genius, and that Nazism elevated German society, and that Hitler was an amazing artist and enjoyed fine art (lol), and got the youth into shape, and was an orderly exemplary regime...

...but he totally doesn't admire Hitler or Nazism. Totally.

He seems like such a fine fellow.
Feiglin criticized lawmaker Aliza Lavie for discussing legislation on sexual violence, protesting that in wartime, no one should be "talking about things like flowers and sexual assault".

They've been making genocidal remarks for years, it's just that the media has been slow to pick up on them for reasons unknown - probably because Western MSM is solidly behind Israeli genocide when it fits - ditto many so called progressives and others.

I don't think it helps the narrative when people make excuses for the terrorists aside from IDF, but you do sadly get a lot of that too, people calling all Israelis Fascists or Nazis - I've never done that

Welp, that settled any doubts about his political opinions in my mind, lol.

This guy is a few beers away from just blurting out the 14 words.

Feiglin may say he doesn't admire Hitler, but his words about the murderer belie that claim.

Yes, Feiglin is a worthless piece of trash whose existence is a waste of scarce resources.

"As Hitler said, 'I cannot live if one Jew is left.' We can't live here if one 'Islamo-Nazi' remains in Gaza."
Someone should remind him that Hitler is dead and the Jews still live. The same fate might befall Feiglin for embracing Nazi ideology. The irony is inhumane.

Of course, it spectacularly backfired for him and even Israeli society can't stand his remarks. Or him ^^ .

IMHO he was probably trying to be clever in quoting Hitler to bolster his point and make it look like Jews were under oppression, but people have rightly interpreted his remarks as unacceptable and now he looks like a Hitler lover..

The irony is that many of the same unhinged hardcore apologists for Israel's genocide here have called me a Hitler lover/anti-semite just for posting that genocide is wrong 🤷‍♂️

I'd have been more open to the idea it was a bad attempt at being clever, but it wasn't the first time he spoke positively of Hitler.

Like Trump and many others like him, including some on other ends of the spectrum, he probably knows very little about Hitler (or Mussolini) and has only read scattershot articles about it on the internet .. and thinks he's a very stable genius about it

I wouldn't rule it out given the high levels of indoctrination among those who believe in extreme forms of Zionism and much else

He's like an alt-right character conceived from an Onion article. 😄

Not really, there are many like him in Israeli govt unfortunately, there are sadly some on the left who condone their thinking too, there are others who call everyone who refuses to support Hamas a Nazi too

I mean, Netanyahu and much of the Likud Party are not too far off. But this dude is definitely further along the rightwing spectrum than even them.

there are sadly some on the left who condone their thinking too,

I've noticed many of the zionist liberals have become quiet in recent weeks concerning the Israel/Gaza issue...

there are others who call everyone who refuses to support Hamas a Nazi too

I don't doubt such people exist (I've been on Twitter) but I cannot imagine they are a significant group.

I'm not sure he is further along the spectrum than them, he isn't actively participating in the deaths (right now) of Palestinian children.

To my mind, the biggest monsters aren't those who post Nazi hate online or who wish death on others online, that I can accept and I don't really give a shite about it. I'm sure as bad or worse things have been posted on here by plenty of others and I too have fought with people posting anti-semitic hatred, even they weren't half as evil as people actively wishing for Gaza to be turned into a parking lot and going out and doing something about it

The people who actually go out and do horrific atrocities and commit the worst deeds known to man are the people who get my attention - and I'm including people who lionise Hamas and go and actively help them in that too

People who say hateful things are a dime a dozen on the internet & other media; they are best ignored

This guy just sums up the entire mentality of the Israeli govt, which is why this should be publicised, as he was a part of the govt previously..

I'm talking ideologically. If he were in charge he would've been more blatant with the genocide.

I do agree we should pay more attention to those with the power.

I'm not sure the first part is true - maybe he's only being so open with it now that he doesn't have any responsibilities or power? When you're sidelined you can shout as much as you want into the void - or so he thought

Maybe the backlash the first time was so bad he shut his mouth for a time, because he knew he couldn't keep saying cac like that without serious problems coming his way, if he was openly endorsing a genocide and helping commit it, that might have accelerated Israel's pariah status so badly they would have given him the toe out the govt very quickly

I mean they gave Ayelet Shaked the toe a while back, she's openly genocidal.

They do seem to have sidelined him from the govt, that would be Apocalypse's response here, my response would be that they need to quickly sideline those who are too open about genocide (like Shaked or Feiglin) because they just accelerate Israel's pariah status a bit too quickly, it's called PR and damage limitation - they can only carry on with the actual genocide itself if they don't call it a genocide

Even writing those words makes me feel quite sick

It's nice to see that the Jew hating crowd found a former Israeli politician on the most far-right spectrum in Israel who says something crazy like the nutter he is and then use it to attack Israel as if he represents anything but himself.
Goes to show how much of a struggle it is to be an anti-Israeli extremist and desperately attempt to find anything that will grant substance to your bizarre claims.

There are by the way crazier people in every country, Israel not an exception.
