Historically, foreign wars have allowed presidents to exercise more Authoritarian power at home, i.e. Wilson during WW1, FDR during WW2, Bush during War on Terror.

The Mitch McConnell - Lindsey Graham squad wanted to destroy Trump and MAGA movement - they tried to use Ukraine but that did not work so they are using Israel instead

If any lasting change comes from the Israel-Iran skirmish, it will probably not be directly through Israel's military action, but rather because Iranians notice that the IRGC is in disarray and this is their chance to overthrow their own government. I'm not holding my breath though...lasting change can only happen when Iranians decide they're tired of this.

Either way, it's not something America needs to get involved in at the present time. I don't see anything good coming from that.

The risk of Bush 2.0 is growing as we speak.

The thing is that Trump will be lured into thinking an aerial campaign can work, while in reality what it would take is a ground invasion.
There's no way US military can sustain a physical occupation of Iran. It would certainly mean the end of a Trump administration through a total derailment of its agenda.

Israelis want imperialism - they want an imperial America - and that goes contrary to the US constitution, which was designed to avoid this with its checks and balances

The Israelis, while not saying so out loud, see the US constitution as their enemy, because its checks and balances would prevent them and their embedded lobbies in US from carrying out wars on Israel's whims.
