Depends what you want out of it. I have som folks that I get on well with and some=e not so much. If you want to change people’s minds, you better bring a sound argument, The description should warn, “for entertainment only!”

I find there is a fair amount of seasoned people on board. They let me hang around a little more than three years.

Some of the mods are fair. Just because someone talks up socialism it doesn't mean they are young. Some of the old farts had good union jobs and they have theirs, you're SOL.

A couple of decades ago Religion, respecting the military, family values, were all at the top of the Republican most important list..

Now? Number 1,2 and 3 is politics.. Religion and family values isn't even in their top 5 anymore.

Hasn't changed. Trump is the first to deliver real results on those issues. Trump is delivering on the platitudes made by every candidate since Reagan.

I know as a Christian I was always taught to cheat on spouses, pay porn stars for sex, brag about walking in on 15 YO girls, lie, cheat, steal, name call, not forgive ANYONE, use the Lord's name in vain, worship wealth, insult the less fortunate...

This is what society is like today and all we can do is try to deal with it. My impression with this site is that about 80% of the posters here are far left wing and border on socialism. I do think that a about 25% of them are very young. By that I mean under 30. I also think a fair amount of them still live in their parents home and have lived a sheltered life and when they do have to go out on their own and make it in the word they will be ill prepared.

I came here from another site called CARM which is a religious site but has a section for secularists/atheists and politics and in that section, you get the same type thing, although I think not quite as much a percentage of what I call far left wingers.

Naturally, the posters don't think they are. If you were to poll them, they would say they are centrists or mainstream and that everyone else is a fascist, racist or conspiracy theorist. I post here to see what the extreme elements of our society are thinking and doing so that I can be wary of their tactics and beliefs. I find it unfortunate that America is veering their way and I place the blame squarely on the shoulders of MSM which dominates the world we currently live in. If it weren't for Fox, we would probably be a communist country right now. They spew forth 24/7 far left hate news and it is indoctrinating the masses, particularly the young folks such as we see here.

Inspite of what you may think being a Dem and contributing to candidates isn't a sin.

But every other thing I listed is a sin and goes against everything Jesus Christ taught and preached..
