BEIRUT (Reuters) - Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, threatened on Tuesday to "set fire" to the nuclear deal sealed with world powers if U.S. presidential candidates reneged on the agreement.Presumptive Republican candidate Donald Trump said last August it would be hard to "rip up" the deal, but if elected president he would "police that contract so tough they don't have a chance".
Iran can expect a shift in relations with the United States to a more aggressive posture under a Republic president, a reversal of the warming trend nurtured by Democratic President Barack Obama.

Lol, there's a shock. If we don't keep grabbing ankles, they'll pull out of the deal!

Wasn't Obama roundly applauded by the MSM when he said he wanted to negotiate with Iran?

What could possibly have gone wrong with that idea?

Oh yeah, they're fanatical loony tunes!

The way I see it, if Iran goes ahead with developing nuclear weapons, the US Air Force pays a visit to Iran's illegal nuclear weapons sites.

In the meantime, we might as well wait and see if the deal holds. Maybe it is destined to fail. Maybe not. Time will tell.

So long as Iran abides by the treaty, we should abide by it too.

The treaty may fail. But we won't need to worry about that unless it actually happens. Meanwhile we should give the treaty a chance to succeed.

Iran has every right to nuclear weapons.
Iran voluntarily gave up that right when they signed the Non-Proliferation Treaty.

Israel has them and you do as well
Israel and the US never gave up our rights to have nuclear weapons.

Of course. They got the money. That is all that mattered to them. The whole thing is an embarrassment to the U.S.

No it isn't. It was their money.

No the largest state terrorist the US does not have the right to tell other countries who can have Nuclear weapons, when they overthrew a democratically elected government in Iran in 1953 and installed their own dictator the Shah, where all this began

America is the largest state sponsor of terror ? How so ?

And yes, the US does have the right to defend itself and help defend its allies ( Israel) from annihilation.

That includes preventing radical theocracies who've taken a vow to destroy its neighbors from attaining thermonuclear weapons

It sells more weapons than any other country, and to the highest bidder, whether they are enemy or foe, that's how so

Hey, lets define " State sponsored terrorism ".

That would be the use of and or funding of terrorism and or terrorist groups as part of a larger National Foreign policy initiative.

For example, Iran's support of Hamas and Hezbollah. In 2012, the US State Department released a report noting that had been a " marked resurgence in Iran's terrorism sponsorship "

Chapter 1. Strategic Assessment

No matter how much you hate the US, American defense contractors selling weapons to Americas Nation Allies isn't " State sponsored terrorism ".

a contract is a contract.

It's my understanding that Iran never signed the contract. Contracts require delivery and acceptance. We delivered, they didn't accept.

We all know Iran would never, ever buy nuclear material for a bomb or bombs from North Korea because NK would never, ever sell such stuff to a country like Iran. It's just like Pakistan would never, ever sell nuclear warheads to Saudi Arabia.

It's always interesting to see this bit of anti-American propaganda being regurgitated. It's just the kind of thing I used to see in the old English-language editions of Soviet Life, a magazine whose purpose was to spread Communist propaganda to Americans. But given how dim and ignorant most of the regurgitators are, it's just as likely they got their anti-America falsehoods out of one of those "alternative" rags they stack by the door of the local bong shop.

Britain and the U.S. agreed to install the young Shah Reza Pahlavi during World War Two. The Allies were concerned with making Iran as stable as possible. One reason for this was that because supplying the Soviet Union through the North Atlantic to Murmansk was so dangerous, Churchill and Roosevelt wanted to be able to create an alternative southern route through Iran, if necessary.

This problem could--and should--be solved pretty quickly. Renege on B. Hussein Obama's agreement; order the jihadist curs in the Khamenei regime to destroy all their nuclear weapons facilities immediately, and allow international inspectors to verify the destruction; and if they refused, take the decision out of their hands by destroying the facilities from the air. All five of the sites that are indispensable to Iran's nuclear weapons program are vulnerable to conventional U.S. bombs, and the tonnage needed could probably be delivered by about ten B-2's.

I disagree. I would say they are bunch smarter than our negotiators. A true embarrassment.
