Investigations will continue despite submission of the Mueller report

I don't know how anybody thinks it's over. It will never be over for some (and never mind the expense to the nation).
Mueller's mandate has been executed and completed. This is very good for the country.

But there may still be the need for justice to be meted-out, for any possible crimes unearthed in Mueller's pursuit of his mandate. These possible crimes have been refereed to the appropriate agencies.

This is a PSA for everyone who thought "it was over". Those of us who have been closely watching all of this knew otherwise. In the meantime let's see what's in the Mueller Report.

Left wing stupidity is infinite. We already know that.

Launching an investigation to persue made up crimes is never good for the country.

True.

In the meantime let's see what's in the Mueller Report.

Awwwww. You want to take all the fun out of the Internet.

PS - Is it true that, at the instigation of the US Olympic Committee "Jumping To Conclusions" is being added as an official Olympic event?

You can't indict "the Russian government" either.

But sure, we can move on to one of the other five or six impeachable things Trump has done.

Such as?

Why do you seriously ask a question, and then answer it for me?

Hillary is no saint....but she is no where near the evil person the RW conspiracy machine has been peddling for years.

None of the investigations the Pubs conducted, going back to travelgate....ever stuck.

Why?

There was nothing there.

Do you believe the Clintons killed Foster? Or Hillary and the Pizzagate BS?

What do you believe she is guilty of, besides being a pol, you adamantly disagree with politically?

I think she is guilty of destroying subpoenaed e-mails, destroying devices so they couldn't be forensically examined. I believe she is guilty of lying not only to congress, but investigators in the FBI, where the fix was in, I believe she is guilty of selling access to her office as SoS, and enriching herself through the foundation...etc...Any of these things if done by a Republican would have you screaming, and banging your keyboard....

You’ve provided literally no reason why anyone should doubt my honesty and why I’m suddenly required to defend it. If you want me to prove my credibility, provide an example for why I should have to.

You made the claim, so now you will expend post after post dodging backing up your claim...AS USUAL.

No, you made the claim that I'm dishonest. You back it up. I don't have to do research for you just because you lobbed a random and baseless accusation at me.

And if you can't back it up then you should have the decency to apologize or take it back.

The Mueller investigation was under dem control?

Mueller ( a republican) who was appointed by Rosenstein ( a republican) who was appointed by Trump (a republican) was controlled by the dems?

OK then.

At best you can say that Rosy is an establishment guy....And at worst a useful idiot in the whole thing....Lots of "Republican's" have proven to be more aligned with the "resist" idiots, than with the rule of law these days...

So, you don't remember making this claim?: "But overwhelmingly I’ve had to explain that to republicans."

If it is so "overwhelming" then it should be easy as hell for you to post the times....but instead you have spent the last 8 pages now dodging doing that....So, I'll take the win and be done with it.

Chris Stevens wanted more protection but was denied it.

Not quite correct.

Admittedly he didn't get what he asked for, but you might want to read "Why didn’t Ambassador Chris Stevens get the security he requested?" to find out WHY.

Hillary was the boss of the State Department the buck stopped on her desk.

In the US it doesn't quite work that way.

Admittedly in those countries adhering to British Parliamentary Tradition, the responsible Minister IS ACTUALLY responsible for what happens within their Ministry (even if they didn't know about it), in the US the "responsible party" is the lowest level of the bureaucratic chain that cannot dump the responsibility on someone lower down.

Why, if your position had been correct, then Mr. Bush would have been "responsible" for the WTC/Pentagon mass murders and would have had to resign because the attacks happened "on his watch" and because "the buck stopped on his desk".

We all know that that isn't true and didn't happen.

Or is that another case of "But, that's DIFFERENT!!!"?

Can you provide the details of the report, and its specific findings?

There is another thread with over 1,000 posts that is doing exactly that.

Of course no one on that thread has actually seen the report or knows what the reports specific findings are yet - but that isn't stopping them from debating the report and its findings passionately.

The investigation is complete. There are NO indictments. Time to move on...

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the correct statement "There are NO MORE UNFILED SEALED indictments."?

they are trying to swiftly move on to other witch hunts to distract from their disastrous Mueller results.

'Swiftly' move on to other investigations that began some while ago. Sure. To be fair the media will likely shift focus if the final details of the report corroborate Barr's version. But the investigations have been gathering speed the whole time anyway and will continue apace.

As I read the summary that has been released, the report "clears" Mr. Trump just as definitively as the 8 Congressional investigations prior to the ninth Congressional investigation "cleared" Ms. Clinton and the Republicans should act accordingly.

I'm still waiting to see what IS in the report rather than what someone who has a vested interest in keeping someone else happy SAYS is in the report.

Well Ted would know about extreme hatred, he did all he could to block Obama. He also supported a man who promoted the racist lie that was Obamas BC. Ted has no decency or standards.

Whether he does or not, as you have said, he does know about extreme hatred.

Is there some reason you didn't respond to what he said and instead just attacked him?

A very important point! The house democrats have only one goal for the next year and a half and that is the destruction and impeachment of President Trump.
Every thing they do is calculated to achieve that end result. The country can go to hell the democrats don't care.... they must get Trump.

We will see how much longer the American public will tolerate the never-ending pursuit.

You're interested in nothing but playing the absurd game of "my team is pure & the other team isn't."

Someone recently wrote:

Damn....some people are so partisan, they just can't see the hypocrisy.

And this is both true, and ironic.

If you aren't aware of the mountainous corruption of the Democrats, it is solely because you choose not to be aware.

And this choice not to see the complete criminal corruption of both major parties makes you not the solution, but the problem.

You are that which you despise.

False equivalencies can be made....but you have to present something first.

Words matter, and your words/assertions fall flat.

The Democratic party as a whole is nowhere close to pure. There are many flawed democrats.

But to claim, in the last 40+ years or so...that one party is more corrupt (by actual felony convictions) than the other, there really is not a contest.

Look at indictments and convictions under Reagan vs Clinton. W Bush vs Obama.
(see attached)

If I make a claim, I will back it up.

You?

The Mueller investigation is complete. There were no indictments. time to move on. I believed the initial investigation into Benghazi was warranted. I did not support 10 investigations. Is there a particular reason you ask?

How can a report, that has yet to be released...be over?

Good on you not supporting the additional 9 benghazi investigations.

Key word: Believe.

You believe, without proof. All of those were investigated, and no indictments, no convictions.

I am no fan of HRC...if she is dirty....throw the book at her.

But apparently, there was no there, there.

How about now? The summary is out there. The Mueller investigation is closed. It is over.

Sure...you can go with that if it makes you feel better. Its over. The Mueller report is completed. No indictments. Time to move on...

After reading the complete summary, it appears this is similar to when COmey decided there was not enough evidence to prove the alleged accusations regarding HRC's email situation.

The report also stated the investigation did not exonerate the POTUS.

There are referrals for other "ongoing matters" to other possible issues to other district offices.

So I will take the Report stating there was not enough evidence to charge Trump for collusion or obstruction.

The other issues that are being investigated are still active.

The Justice Department is digging into the Trump Organization’s role in hush money payments and the Trump inaugural committee’s finances. Congressional committees are probing everything from how Trump’s son-in-law and daughter got security clearances to Trump’s taxes. State investigators are looking into Trump’s foundation and business.

There have also been several high-profile lawsuits against the president that could surface damaging new information. In particular, a defamation suit by a former Apprentice contestant could result in Trump’s deposition under oath about sexual assault accusations.

Now that being said, I prefer the Justice Department do these investigations, vs multiple Democratic party committee investigations.

Keep in mind, Starr investigated for 5+ years, starting with Whitewater, which eventually became a mild sex scandal, compared to the current occupant in the White House. Also keep in mind, Trump never testified under oath.

I believe it is a mistake for the Democratic party committee to further investigate this matter. I believe Mueller and his team were given the time and the resources needed to fully investigate. The investigation is complete. They found NO Trump/Russia collusion. It is time to move on and take on the many serious issues faced by our Country. I believe if the Dems insist on more investigations it is going to hurt them dearly in 2020.
