On Tuesday, voters in Alabama approved a personhood amendment that gives constitutional rights to fertilized eggs and fetuses.
I have no idea what to say.

Alabama manages to do that to me now and then.
If eggs are people, do eggs that were frozen for 18 years get to vote? Are they counted as dependents? Do they qualify for SS as they can not work?
Did they manage to sneak "Black people are people" into their Constitution too? Or just fertilized eggs?
Kind of strange considering they don't have a face, brain, legs, arms, body, or anything else that actual people have.
One can be 18 and not legally an adult. Yes, they're dependents, they cost. They can work, thaw them.
Amputees aren't people?
Is Alabama going to have monthly inspections of women to ensure the rights of eggs and fetuses are not being abused?
Amputees have a brain, face, body, and usually a few limbs.
Amputees 1
Eggs 0
 No, only the black eggs. Once born, they go back to, well...if Alabama had its way, slaves.

After thawing however they will need a place to incubate before they can work. Unless they go into research, in which case do they get paid min wage?

Free association.

That inheritance you thought you only had to share with your grabby brother .... now you have to share it with all the embryos your parents have in storage at the fertility clinic.
No min wage. They work on tips.

A fertilized egg being considered a person, is no more ridiculous than someone believing a late term abortion isn't murdering a child.
