You better hope they keep coming out or you will be subjecting future generations to Sharia. Apparently we need a few cities blown up before people realize what we have allowed, and keep allowing to happen.
Also you are letting Islam silence you. That statement clearly shows you are intimidated by threats of violence for criticizing Islam.
Don't you see what your doing?
First and foremost, nothing anybody says on an Internet forum is going to change the world.
Secondly, when the extremists have been doing their best to try to make things into an "us vs them" style showdown, about the dumbest thing you could possibly do is play into their hands and purposefully set up an us vs them showdown. The radicals have used a corrupted understanding of Islam to fuel their own ends.
Have you ever seen the movie Kingdom of Heaven? It's a good movie. The point being, of course, is that similarly to the Crusades certain individuals are taking advantage of a strong renewal in faith to try and gain worldly power. Weren't you the one who said the more things change the more they stay the same?
The radicals are going to kill people. It's in their nature. If they weren't killing for Allah, they'd be killing for Marx or their clan or land or money.
It is us against them. And as I have said before "them" (Muslims) are doing nothing to change that. What does not change is Islam. Their religion says to gain wordly power by whatever means possible. Many times.
I agree with your overall premise. But I do take into account the government vetting process, which is almost non existent
The left accuses the right of being Islamophobic, and racists, just because they want proper vetting?
"To be sure, I'm an agnostic, so I don't understand how people can have faith in a Supreme Being be they Muslim, Christian or whatever you are."
That statement proves your lie.
Congrats. Your exactly the way ISIS wishes all westerners were.
It is not "us versus them".
This is us versus a very small fraction of them.
Experts think it is between 3 and 13 %. Some say 10 to 15%. Ex-Muslims tell us the same. It is not a small fraction.
There's 1.6 billion Muslims in the world. Out of that, roughly ten percent isn't that much. You can find one guy out of every ten whose a wild eyed radical in any group.
What? 160 million is not many? It sure is when the other 90% do nothing of any significance to stop them.

I don't know where that comes from but it has nothing to do with people who do believe. I see you lying to yourself.
Ecuador?

Yes. I've given some thought to retiring to Ecuador. Stable government, great weather beautiful terrain and a low cost of living. You can choose a city in the mountainous part of the country and have really excellent temperate weather that remains the same all year long. Or you can live on the coast if you prefer palm trees and equatorial climate. The Ecuadorian government is unfriendly to the U.S. government but friendly to American immigrants. I'm unfriendly to the U.S. government myself so I'm not bothered by that. Ecuador would be at the top of the list for me except that I wouldn't move for political reasons. I don't care who the U.S. president is. I should mention that Spanish is my native language so no language barrier would exist for me.
Hey if Julian Assange can hide in their embassy to avoid having to deal with rape charges for years on end you'll be fine
Retards made the same claim when Obama was elected. Before Obama they also made that claim about Bush being elected to office and I am sure retards made that idiotic claim anytime someone they don't like is elected office. The top countries people would move to if Trump got elected, based on Google search results.

At the top of this year’s list is Ecuador. Low cost of living combined with strong real estate values, despite a slight uptick in prices in recent years, makes this equatorial nation International Living’s top destination for expat retirees.
All of Ecuador’s services and infrastructure–from public transportation to internet connectivity to available direct flights to the U.S.–receive strong marks from IL’s correspondents. If the country’s GDP continues to grow at 4.5% annually, as it has for 15 years, these positives will likely only improve.
Central and South American countries dominate the upper tier of this ranking, with Panama closely following Ecuador and grabbing attention with the “Pensionado Visa V +1.03% the country makes available to expats with a lifetime pension of $1,000 or more per month. Holders of the visa are entitled to deep discounts on medical services, on which they receive 20% off, as well as 50% off entertainment costs, 25% off perks like restaurants and air fare as well as the same discount for electric and phone bills.
Colombia comes in third, scoring big for access to high-quality, affordable healthcare. In fact, according to the World Health Organization, Colombia outranks the U.S. and Canada in health services.

Malaysian real estate: Where the price is right.
Further down the list, Asia and Europe are strongly represented as well, with countries like the Philippines, Cambodia, Italy, and Ireland all making the cut.
Spain ranks as Europe’s most affordable retirement spot, while Malaysia provides incredible real estate values. Correspondent Thomas O’Neal noted his 1,600 square foot, centrally-located Penang apartment, which he rents for $850 per month–the kind of pricetag that could prompt many an American retiree to start packing their bags.
Then why start now with people that we cannot even check on. And how do you think America started?
Jeez. you don't get sarcasm do you?
If you think immigration can't create a successful society then you must think America isn't successful since it was founded on large scale immigration.
Yep. It's at least a good 1/3 of Bernie supporters that are considering voting for Trump.“Trump over Hillary” seem to be a common sentiment among most Bernie supporters. It will be interesting to see what happens after Bernie is finally out of the race.
No, I'm not "letting Islam silence me". I fundamentally disagree with the premise that Muslims are all evil, that Islam is the new fascism, etc.
I refuse to let a group which is in the minority of another group(which is also a minority) scare me into changing the way I live or how I treat others.
I just proved I can criticize Islam without feeling intimidated. You, on the other hand, seem awfully intimidated. I suspect that goes a long why toward your hatred of Muslims.
I wonder if it is something in the drinking water that makes it impossible for some to see that not wanting Islamofacist terrorists in our midst and our attitudes and treatment of individual Muslims are two entirely different things?
That makes it impossible for some to see that understanding that in modern times most--not all, but most--terrorist acts around the world and in the USA are committed by Islamofacist terrorists is not the same thing as condemning all Muslims?
That makes it impossible for some to see that wanting our country to not stupidly bring in Islamofacist terrorists is not the same thing as saying that we don't want any Muslims or we hate Muslims or we discriminate against Muslims?
That makes it impossible for some to see the difference between how it was hundreds of years ago and what we are dealing with here and now?
