Two of my kids were born on the same day - and yesterday we had their party at my parent's house. My parent's live on a hill that overlooks their city and a main highway - you can see the hill for miles around.

Since this is the highest point in that area it's popular for illegal-fireworks shoot offs, July's a hot month.

Well at the party we made flutterballs - fabric balls with lots of streamers attached to them . . . and the kids were throwing them up in the air.

The neighbors called police - reported 'suspicious gang activity - possibly illegal fireworks' . . . but before the police responded we all went inside for other fun so when they drove through the neighborhood the gang activity had subsided.

She found out from a neighbor down the street this morning while she was outside weeding her garden that this happened while we were there.

Yep - we're the Scuichellans gang, don't forget it! Terrorizing old ladies for more than a decade.

This reminds me of when my friend was practicing martial arts forms with a replica sword (not sharp) in a grassy area of her apartment complex.
Somebody called the cops and reported her, and the cops came and asked her all these questions and confiscated her sword as evidence.
I believe she did eventually get it back though, and no charges were filed.
