Hacker collective of the moment LulzSec has just released a torrent of data it claims to belong to Arizona law enforcement, in what it calls “Operation Chinga La Migra” (or literally translated ”**** the border patrol”).
I’m still downloading the 446MB torrent that they claim contains hundreds of classified documents including personal emails, names and phone numbers. I’ve confirmed by phone that at least one of the addresses posted in the initial release belongs to someone who works in the Arizona police department.
The hacker group says that the Arizona Department of Public Safety was targeted specifically because of the controversial SB 1070 law, which is currently the strictest anti-immigration measure in the US and requires Arizona immigrants to carry registration documents at all times.

Personally, I suspect that if not for many of the nonsensical drug laws, most people would like cops. Well, those and speeding tickets. But mostly the drug laws have given the police a bad rep, I think. I have nothing to back it up with.

Racial profiling is when you assume someone has committed a crime primarily because of their race like when you see a Mexican and then ask for his "papers" just because he's Mexican (even though Mexican isn't a race, it still falls under racial profiling themes). Considering the left Circuit court of Appeals history of being the most overturned court of appeals in the country the SC will not declare those blocked parts unconstitutional.

It made it a crime to not carry immigration documents which really just made it a crime for Hispanics alone to not carry immigration documents since they're the ones who will be profiled. Moreover, police officers can stop anyone who looks like an illegal immigrant (aka anyone who is Hispanic), not just someone they've stopped for a traffic violation or in a criminal act.
