If you had to vote for a Republican president who would you vote for.

Please don't answer " I would never vote republican" or something like that because I'm really interested in who you like.

I guess basically I'm holding a Republican Primary here.

I wish we could combine all of the candidates to have McCains military and senate experience-Romney's experience in finance- turning around budgets/healthcare, and charisma/articulateness-Rudy's calm, strong demeanor-Tancredo's border plan (I like Bush's guest worker program very much though)-Huckabee's domestic agenda such as getting rid of obesity (lol)

Ron Paul, but he's not on your list. So, Tommy Thompson.

Since I am a liberal democrat, I would vote for the Republican candidate that is closest to my views. I think Giuliani would make a good President, and I am even considering voting for him if he is the Republican nominee (As I have said, I will be doing a lot of soul searching over the next year and a half)...obviously my leanings will be for a more liberal Democrat, but after the damage done to this country by GWB, I am looking for someone who can clean up the mess and repair the division that he has promulgated.

If I were a true conservative, I would probably go with someone like Ron Paul or Huckabee.

If I were a true member of the current Republican party, I would go with Gingrich, because I think he is the only candidate out there that represents the Republican party of today..,

But if you ask me who will actually win the Republican primary, I still go with the darkhorse, Romney. I think that once the smoke clears, the Republicans will reject Giuliani as being too out of step with the party, McCain is already a goner and Romney is the only other real contender, unless Gingrich enters the race, which is what I am really hoping for.

Giuliani, he's extremely close with my views. He's socially liberal and favors a free market.

Although many claim that he won't make it past the primaries, 06's election should be a lesson to conservatives everywhere that leaning too close to one side will marginalize the majority cause you to lose control over congress.

I dunno...I think the GOP nomination is still a free for all. Giuliani, McCain, Romney, and Fred Thompson are all about equally likely to win. Gingrich - at this point - is still a long-shot.

Ronald Reagan. Wait he's dead. Abe Lincoln. Wait...he's dead too. God damn it all the good republicans are dead.

I will vote for Tom Tancredo,he is the only one who seems to give a **** about our sovereignty.McCain and Giuliani are liberals in conservative's clothing.Romney is a flipflopper. Gingrich supports a guest worker program, which I am against.I do like Huckabee's stand on alot of issues.I do not like Brownback's stand on immigration and free trade and I do not know enough about Thompson's stand on free trade and immigration.

Pretty much, Tancredo would get my vote because he's the only one with a clue on immigration. McCain sucks, he's just trying to suck up to voters and promise anything to get elected and none of the rest have impressed me in the least.

Tommy Thompson. A sensible man. A conservative that was elected 3 times as govenor in a very blue state has to make sense with what he does.

Ron Paul - why the frick isn't he listed?

That is and easy one....He only listed people who have a chance to win......Paul is a loser..........

I really like Newt - but he has even less a chance of winning.

Like it or not Navy - Ron Paul is very popular for many traditional conservatives.

The guy served in the military during a war and represents a district of Texas in the house. He is running for president on the repulican ticket so leaving him off of the poll only serves to weaken the poll results.

Your wrong about Newt........He has not even declared he is a candidate and is running well in all the polls..........

Paul does not even appear on any poll and he is a declared candidate...

Ugh...

The one not listed, I guess. Ron Paul.

John McCain - Don't like him
Mitt Romney - NO WAY
Rudy Giuliani - Really don't know enough about his views
Newt Gingrich - NO WAY IN HELL
Fred Thompson - Nope
Mike Huckabee - Nope
Tommy Thompson - HELL NO
Sam Brownback - No way
Tom Tancredo - Nope

The Republican party of today should support Newt.
He's your candidate and deserves your support.
