Classic Alinsky tactic.
Blame the other party for doing what you do and hope no one is paying attention.
I think the DoJ needs to reopen that office which investigated right wing terrorism in this country because there sure are some strange words being thrown around.
What did I say that was factually untrue?
If Obama wins, it will be a huge step toward some very troublesome times for this country.
If times that are this awful for so many, led by a president this embarassingly disconnected and clueless, and with an increasingly unfixable debt approaching $16 trillion, does not result in a change in office.....then essentially we will become fully and completely headed toward a European-style socialist existence. Liberals would have officially accomplished their goal, and austerity measure talk and riots in the streets will be around the corner for the U.S., too.
However, there's still a huge faction of people left to fight this in the only way they'll have left. There's a war brewing within our borders. How it will be fought is scary to think about, but it will be inevitable.
This isn't your grandpa's presidential election. This is different. These implications are imminently real, not a can we can kick down the road yet again.
You ignore the Black Panther intimidations at the polling booths, the numerous examples of dead Democrats voting, the brainwashing of appointed minority "leaders" that leads to monolithic voting patterns, the logic of voter identification...it is your party that is bereft of any substance or integrity.
The GOP in its current state is a dying party, at least on a national level. The ultra far-right has taken over the party and has purged it of most of the more reasonable/moderate members. With changing demographics a lot of experts believe that Texas will be in play in the next decade, if not the next election. Once Texas goes swing, the GOP has little hope of winning on the national level. If the GOP is to survive, it must get the teabaggers under control and try to bring the party back to its more moderate state.

LOL. You're 180 degrees wrong. It's actually those of us on the Far-Right who have been marginalized in the party. Thus you have Mitt Romney, the former governor of one of the most LIBERAL states in the country as the Republican nominee for POTUS in 2012. There is more Conservatism in my keyboard than there is in Romney's political beliefs.
For the GOP to regain any traction it needs to move to the RIGHT, in order to provide a truly different option to the Democratic Party.
Dude....you seriously need to turn down your right-wing radio. What you wrote here is over the top/drama queen material.

...says the guy with the Rachel Maddow screen saver. Have you looked at Greece, Portugal, etc? There's no one left to turn to when we get to that point. We've been the safety net for everyone else for a long time. There'll be no safety net for us. It'll be game, set, and match.
Then what?
I hope every single Republican leader and opinion molder follows your advice.
I hope, sincerely, that the GOP goes that direction. It will put the stake in the heart of the party even sooner than expected.
LOL.....seriously dude.....are you for real?
What does any of that have to do with the demographics of the GOP as it will work out over the next forty years?

I guarantee that if they did, there would be a significant change in the US political system. It might not be the one that I would prefer, but there would definitely be a change. It would also make it much easier to determine who one should be doing business with, associating with, allowing their children to date, etc....
Oh, so you want to argue that Romney is further to the left than Obama is to the right? This should be fun. Offer up your first piece of evidence in governance or policy. Be ready to back this with a manistream news source and not mother jones or a left wing blog, please---Ill even accept the NYT.
GO!
Geez, you're condescending to minorities and women.
Do you believe you have to be a white man to understand the funamentals of economics, the ethics of self determination and personal responsiblity, the value of family tradition and commitment, the limitations of what government can and should do, and the importance of preventing the encroachment on those American ideals?
I have more faith in all people than you apparently.
Huh? You think conservatives would tell people who they should associate with and who their children should date? Sadly, you are probably right. Big government conservatives.
I'm not 100% certain what you're saying here. It appears to me that you're complaining because some other business people have been able to get ahead based as much or more on who they know rather than just what they know. I'm not a business owner and never want to be one. However, with the exception of government monies, I have no problem with a business being successful as much on who the owner knows as what he knows.
Since the US Government started taking that money out of MY paycheck and giving it to these people....
Granny, who has never worked a day in her life and whose Medicare is keeping her alive in a facility well beyond the point she should have been allowed to pass on.
The mother whose child is medically unhealthy because she's been a crack whore for the last 5 years and the child got both its drug addiction and AIDS from her during the pregnancy.
As for the Downs Syndrome child, this will sound horrible but at some point we need to start looking at how much we (society) spend on people who are not and never will be viable members of society if their own families cannot or will not be able to support them. I say that as someone who has a birth defect (Sturge Weber Syndrome) that could be classified similarly to DS in many cases.
Yeah. See, I need those people at the top to keep paying my paycheck every week. The people at the bottom are never going to give me a paycheck on a regular basis.
by your definition, the founders of this nation were radical right. Sounds like you need to move to north korea, they have a system of government that would be more to your liking.
you said that Ryan and cantor were radical right, the main issues those two are pushing is a balanced budget.
you are a victim of left wing BS. none of what you say is mainstream conservative views. no conservative wants to eliminate social welfare programs, quite the opposite, they want to make them financially viable so they will be there for our kids and grandkids. no conservative advocates letting kids starve---that is just a stupid statement.
