I would immediately begin to protest for all the souls in hell and would probably try to form a small army of dissenters who want to take the tyrant down ;)

Frankly, if you view God as a tyrant, I doubt you'll have to worry about it too much. ;)

What if hell is on earth and everyone goes to heaven when they die?

Your implication holds, thankfully because the conditional will never be satisfied. With that attitude, if you wake up anywhere other than earth, it's going to be hell.

I always thought that was silly. A child believes god is evil, so instead of convincing him otherwise god sends him to hell to burn for all eternity. Yeah, nothing like proving the child right, lol.

You think sending someone to hell is evil when their intentions are as the OP described? Do you think sending Adam Lanza to prison or death row instead of counseling would have been a cruel move by the justice system?

If you are in heaven that means that God exists and of course God is almighty. Let me know how that goes for you. Also keep in mind its been done before.

Don't unpack your bags.

That's kind of like saying, "I'm leaving the USA and going to live in Haiti because it's too good here." Haven't seen that mass exodus yet?

There is little doubt that sending your children to burn for all eternity is the most unthinkable thing I could imagine doing to my children. Yes, it is evil.

Yeah, but all he lost was access to heaven and beauty while gaining the crown of hell. I would do that punishment. Oh no, I lost the stupid crap I don't really need. Oh, the horror..yeah..

You're assuming the OP came from an 8 year old. Judging by their other thread they started, I don't think that's the case. In any case, nobody is getting into heaven with those intentions.

Me in heaven "Wow! Would you look at that! It really did existed!! Now God, I think it is pretty obvious that I did not really followed your path under such weak non-scientific premises of stories, I cannot lie to you you'll see it through me. So I thank thee for deciding this ending for me after all. Look at it this way, now that I see you I have solid grounds to believe you! Fair aint it?"

That would be a great topic for a book. No joke, I would read that

Paradise Lost would be the starting point, especially since that seems to be the modern origins of what most people think of as hell.

Lol. You obviously don't understand. The view of Satan as someone who chills out in hell and orders around a bunch of demons is a myth made up by unbelievers. According to the bible Satan is in eternal damnation not as a ruler but as it's highest security prisoner. He lives in the horrors of hell fire constantly in pain. The only driving desire he has left is too bring more people down to hell too share in his terrible existence. That is the biblical version of Satan's punishment. Trust me not fun.

You get a choice. You dont have to go too hell. You can choose to live a good life and go to heaven and live in the ultimate paradise. I'd say that is plenty fair.

Btw, that was more like one of the soldiers of god trying to take the crown out a desire to have the power while this would be more like revolution where his children would rise up against him looking for independence.. Not really the same beast at all. The difference wouldn't change the result, but still, its not the same situation.

Yeah, which apparently means I have to respect an evil SOB. That is just not going to happen.

Hmm..ok.

Atheists and homosexuals who start endless threads to attack the Christian faith of others are not going to Heaven. Also I would prefer that they are not in my neighborhood.
