You mean the pretense that the Second Amendment was needed to push back against a tyrannical government was always bullshit, and that these people would be more likely to aid in the oppression than protect the oppressed?

If Texas 2nd Amendment Rights militias traveled to California, whose side would they be on? ICE or the protestors?

Likely ICE. Most 2nd amendment believers/proponents are staunch 'LAW' folks.

The protestors are currently protesting the adherence to federal law. AKA, not on the side of the law abiding.

Clearly none of the ones Pelosi approved would even remotely be considered ‘on her side’, or even fans of democrats, most certainly not rabid Trumphumper Troy Nehls.

It was McCarthy who threw a hissy fit and pulled all five. He thought if he pulled them all it would shut it all down.

Kinzinger was added after.

And more reality, the bottom line is the only reason the committee was even formed was because republicans had blocked the bipartisan commission, which would have even given them subpoena power, dear leader didn’t want it. They thought blocking it would put an end to any and all investigations.
