The Dept said it had nothing to do with a operation but the guy there said they were processing prisoners in vehicles that had been seen at Home Depot earlier, which means it was involved in an operation.

Why would they be in jail here for a crime they committed in another country.
If they commit a crime here I want them in jail here then deported

The problem is those taken by ICE don't have the ability to call lawyer even if they have one.
So, again would you be ok with the police barging in and doing whatever they like if you can't call a lawyer or in fact do anything to defend yourself because the police will charge you with extra charges for resisting them.

I saw three cars. Depending on how many people there were, one car with the trouble, two more to stay behind and hang out because we all know how ICE can draw crowds that are less than polite.

There's nothing happening in Congress to enact a new law to enable the Potus/C'nC to implement a martial law.

Trump has never spoken about martial law.

This is significant since the field of Strategic Studies informs us that wannabe dictators always need to tell us what they're going to do to us. Wannabe dictators are so hateful and vengeful toward their targeted "enemy" they can't keep their evil designs to themselves; they have to speak openly and brazenly about them. It's the "I'm gonna getchu" syndrome of "Just you wait and see."

Trump has in fact stopped speaking about the Insurrection Act which as we know authorizes the armed forces to enforce civil laws. Trump has not invoked the Insurrection Act. Nor to my awareness anyway, has Trump ever spoken about martial law. This of course doesn't mean he won't say it, nor does it mean he won't tell his sycophant congress to enact a new martial law provision. It simply means Trump does not have creating martial law on the brain.

Another factor is the impracticality of a federal martial law. Not all state NG would comply, not all cities would comply, not all counties would comply; martial law by Trump would be divisive and fragment the country rather than bring it under a control that is absolute and total. And martial law for the sake of absolute power and for the sake of the Generalissimo's lust for civilian American blood in the streets would be rejected by the active duty chiefs and commanders of the armed forces much to the relief of the forces themselves.

Indeed, any federal martial law would divide the country's population, fragment it and shatter peace and order across the land. It would have the opposite effect, which is why Trump doesn't utter the term. Trump just has not expressed any interest in martial law. This is despite all the liberal weak kneed defeatism and fearmongering speculation about martial law. It's the fatalist liberal wimps who keep talking martial law.
