ICE agents denied entry to Dodger Stadium

As far as I understand, the states have never had any legal obligation to enforce federal immigration law. Border control and immigration enforcement have always been a federal responsibility.
How about policies that facilitate illegal immigration like, say, issuing illegal immigrants driver's licenses? In some cities, there are proposals to allow them to vote.

I don't think it's impossible. I also don't think it's racist. I think it's enforcing immigration law, and I suspect that's why you have a problem with it.
then you have no idea what it would take and the damage it would cause.
i see no benefit to deporting people who contribute in a positive way.

SoCal, and no one ever ignored the border.
If we're not ignoring immigration law enforcement, why are there over 11 million undocumented immigrants in the country and why are there people -- like you -- who say "i see no benefit to deporting people?" You are literally arguing that we should not enforce immigration law while also arguing no one advocates for ignoring immigration law.

If you can't see that contradiction then sorry, I can't help you.

S
I've mentioned what they are here in MA earlier in the thread. If you'd like to confirm their existence, feel free to do so. I'm not doing your research for you,
So much easier to make up stuff that way.;)

Left-wing logic: No one is arguing that we should ignore immigration law. It's just that we should never, ever deport illegal immigrants.

Because without a real plan to replace these workers all this will do is crush the economy. Why does MAGA not want to address this part?

Deport those who commit crimes are in gangs and so on. Deporting a nanny or person who has led a quite life here for 10+ years does not sever us.

Right wing logic=every grey issue is black and white until Trump changes his mind again.

And, as we've seen, that's over several decades with LOTS of them who were students or tourists or workers who overstayed their visa.

You're conflating an objective with the plan to achieve that objective, they are two different things.

I support the full enforcement of immigration law. I don't always support Trump's methods for achieving that goal.

Enforcing the rule of law helps everyone who does not break the law.

I agree. Overstaying a visa is, or so I've read, the leading cause of illegal immigration.

What's your point?

A plan with out a way to deal with the consequences is just a stupid idea.

Like pardoning Jan 6 criminals.

Trump has a plan. It's not always optimal, but at least he's making a determined effort to deal with the problem. For the most part, I support what he's done thus far, and the gnashing of teeth from the left was going to happen even if Trump's plan were perfect.

A plan without dealing with the consequences is the plan of an idiot.
There is no way in hell a Trump Miller plan could be perfect.

I notice that these policies have nothing whatsoever to do with the actual border itself.

The whole country is supposed to be at Trump's beck and call.

He will try and punish you if you aren't.

Lots of laws aren't enforced. Why are you hell bent on enforcing this one?

So they didn't force their way in and followed the legal protocol, eh?

So much for all of those fake claims that ICE isn't following the law! :ROFLMAO:

It wasn't ICE, right?
