I refuse to vote for Mitt Romney

Romney will not beat Obama because conservatives will not be fired up enough to go out and vote for him. Watch it happen.

You can't just ignore the Christian/Tea Party/Conservative base.

You know how it enhances the conservative movement? By slapping the Republican establishment in the face. They can't win unless they run the person that's going to get us out in droves.

We're going to drag the Republican establishment to the right kicking and screaming if we need to, or form our own Tea Party.

How does it enhance the conservative "movement" by re-electing Barack Obama? Didn't say it was Romney, but if it is Romney vs. Obama what do you do?

You don't win an election by winning independents and moderates. Those people don't vote anyway.

You win an election by getting your base to turn out.

Hell yes! It's Santorum or bust!!

Psssst ... you ONLY win an election by turning the independents.

Please don't prove me to be a liar, I said that conservatives have logic and common sense. Sounds pretty selfish to me if you allow Obama another 4 years. This country cannot afford it.

Don't see saved anywhere in this quote from Romer's report, please point it out to me.
You never stop lying, do you, Con?

From page 2 of her report ...

A key goal enunciated by the President-Elect concerning the American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan is that it should save or create at least 3 million jobs by the end of 2010.

There ... do you see it now?? :lamo:lamo:lamo

The most egregious part of you repeating this lie is that we've already had this discussion and you've already been show that you were misquoting the report and leaving out the word "save".

Conservative: "Wrong, as reported he said he would CREATE 3 million jobs as I posted and then changed it to save or create knowing that no one can determine the amount of saved jobs."

Sheik Yerbuti: "I'm quoting the publication put out by his team, The Job Impact of the American Recovery and Investment Plan. You're quoting Tara Weiss."

Conservative: "I am quoting what was stated in that article from the Obama radio address. You and the rest of the brainwashed always buy rhetoric."

Sheik Yerbuti: "You're quoting an article whcich paraphrased what Obama said. I'm amazed you can't even spot the dishonesty in that when you could have looked up Obama's actual words. The truth is, you don't even care what he said as long as you canb find someone who mis-quoted him, that's good enough for you.

I challneged you to quote him instead of Tara Weiss but you refuse to. The reason you refuse to is because you know he said "saved and created."

"The report confirms that our plan will likely save or create three to four million jobs" ~ Barack Obama, January 10th, 2009"

Now stop lying!!

:stop: :bs

Conservatives should stand for PRINCIPLES and vote for a conservative.

The only people who govern according to the polls used to be Democrats and Libs.

Please don't prove me to be a liar, I said that conservatives have logic and common sense. Sounds pretty selfish to me if you allow Obama another 4 years. This country cannot afford it.

Sheik stop that redin' stuff right now. It's going to rot your brains!!!:2razz:

You should realize by now that you don't always get what you ask for or want. Pretty selfish to sit the election out and allow Obama another four years. you are the one that has to live with that decision.

LOL, pretty simple math, you have 100 people employed and you save 10 jobs does that mean there is an increase in employment? The employment remains at 100 so no increase. Really, Adam, what is it about liberalism that creates this kind of loyalty? Do you really want this country to be like Europe?
You really should stay away from math -- you hurt yourself every time you play with numbers. :lamo

Conservatives should stand for PRINCIPLES and vote for a conservative.

Everyone should stand on principles and vote for what they want rather than against who they hate.

The only people who govern according to the polls used to be Democrats and Libs.

...aaaaaaand partisan crap to end the post.

Have you ever seen anyone like this guy in your life? He lies. He gets caught lying. He refuses to acknowledge he lied. And then he repeats the same lie he was already exposed telling.

And he has the audacity top project that it's others who are brainwashed.

:screwy:screwy:screwy:screwy

Just watch, this will not be the last time he gets caught telling that same lie.

Yes. And they were conservatives too.

I knew it was a waste of time to engage you in any kind of discussion. your constant name calling is quite telling about you. Why don't you explain to me how my math is wrong when you have 100 jobs and save 10 that employment increases?

I also posted a direct quote from the report so how is that a lie? I do believe it is a waste of time dealing with you

Yes. And they were conservatives too.

Do you realize why this country is in the mess it is in? Look in the mirror, it is hard having a civil discussion with a liberal as you and others simply are too brainwashed and ignore actual verifiable data preferring instead to name call.

Not but one post earlier...

Yes, the majority of the country knows, 30 years of supply-side economics coupled with deregulation. Reaganomics is its name.

Yes, and what was that response to? I have been called a liar by Sheik more than a few times and he uses that word a lot. I have made mistakes and when I make a mistake I admit it but somehow admitting it is still a lie. people make mistakes but there is no mistake in the verifiable data offered by bea.gov, bls.gov, U.S. Treasury, and there was no mistake in Christina Romer's report and how the stimulus was sold.

Sorry you need a massive central control to compete in this country. Reagan economy created 17 million jobs. guess that isn't enough for you nor is personal responsibility something you will ever adopt.

Umm, Adam was talking about unemployment, not employment...

"In terms of unemployment there is no difference between saving a job and creating a job." ~ AdamT

Where your math is wrong is that saving those ten jobs prevents unemployment from rising. You can't deal with facts so you change them to fit your positions.

I also posted a direct quote from the report so how is that a lie? I do believe it is a waste of time dealing with you
Stop lying, Con. You said, "Don't see saved anywhere in this quote from Romer's report, please point it out to me."

I showed it to you.

Repeating the same lie after being shown it was wrong the first time you said it is no longer an innocent mistake -- it's an outright lie.

And I don't simply call you a liar -- I prove that you lie.

That isn't what the quote was addressing and wasn't what I was talking about and you know it. Here it
is again from the article

We reach several key preliminary findings:

• A package in the range that the President-Elect has discussed is expected to create between three and four million jobs by the end of 2010.

Saving a job has nothing to do with increasing employment

Sorry you need a massive central control to compete in this country. Reagan economy created 17 million jobs. guess that isn't enough for you nor is personal responsibility something you will ever adopt.

I don't need massive central control, I think we need to cut spending by trillions and increase the tax rates for the wealthy by trillions, getting us closer back to the point we were before Reaganomics that created more debt than all the presidents before him. And don't try to give me that crap about how it was the Congress and not Reagan, as the conservative Cato Institute has documented that Reagan requested more spending than Congress approved. Just like with your man Bush!

And, according to BLS data (as posted previously in this thread), Reagan created way less manufacturing jobs per year than has Obama:

"Barack Obama: Increase of 157,368 manufacturing jobs per year in office

George W. Bush: Decrease of 434,143 manufacturing jobs per year in office
Bill Clinton: Increase of 37,143 manufacturing jobs per year in office
George H.W. Bush: Decrease of 336,000 manufacturing jobs per year in office
Ronald Reagan: Increase of 1,429 manufacturing jobs per year in office
Jimmy Carter: Increase of 15,333 manufacturing jobs per year in office"

Obama's job recovery is private sector jobs increasing while government jobs decrease. Here you are touting how Reagan's economy created jobs which was on the back of exploding the size of government.
