There's a closeup of the cup in the story. It looks like you've got to pack the guys into a carbon fiber vice of some sort. It just keeps getting worse!

Um, there's only one cup. You mean both of yours will fit into that one little cup?

It can't be that you're supposed to chill one testicle at a time because then all the heat would go to the other testicle, which would frikken explode!
 
It won't be zero.

Some men have fertility issues from having to high testes temperature. So by keeping the temp lower they will have a higher chance of becoming a father.

Better that than an ice pack for hours at a time
