I just replied to a "survey" from my Congressional representative.

She's Sarah Jacobs, a progressive Democrat.
It was entertaining in the way it was written.
Like this:

What can I address that is important to you?

A. Rainbows and unicorns..yay!

B. LGBTQ+++

C. Climate change.

D. Oppose the Facsists!

And last,

E. Other.

In which there was only space for a medium length sentence. Choose wisely, grasshopper!

I wrote "Stop the war on fossil fuels. Can't afford it".

Really curious if I get a response.

Who helped you with big words and sentences you didn't understand?

Aw, come on, commies! Can't you see the injustice in me having a progressive Democrat as a representative?
I feel cheated....

If we are going to be proud of ourselves for mundane things in this thread ...

It's a little condescending to assume that's a mundane success. 😉

Feel free to move to a district which has elected a conservative. Otherwise you may as well spit into the wind.

"There is no war on fossil fuels. Oil companies are highly profitable."

^^^ your response

You've got it backwards.

When there is a war on X, it means the government is doing what it can to reduce the supply of X. When the idiot government artificially reduces the supply of something via regulation (like it does for housing and healthcare), profits go up, not down. Don't think for a minute that the mountain of regulation regarding the fossil fuel industry doesn't reduce supply, because it definitely does.

But not by Communist professors.Like, I assume, yours was.
You still angry that I got a degree and went on to have a career where they value my brain, and I get paid lots more than you do?

Go sweep up that oil you spilled.

Well, you didn't deny it. I'll give you that.

I am proud of my education, and education in general.

Tell you what, since you are so skeptical of people who went to college, stop seeing your doctor, dentist, CPA, lawyer, etc. Don't buy any car that was designed by any engineer that went to college, don't buy any product with any computer chips on it. Don't buy anything that was ever manufactured by anyone that got a college education.

Wallow in ignorance!
