I call the gun I use for self defense a spitting cobra. Many people think all tech is not natural and guns are many made objects to kill unnaturally. The first gun makers likely saw nature and projectiles the same with plane makers and birds.

I call all guns spitting cobras

When I was fourteen that's what I called my penis.

If that's the most important thought you have to share today, see a specialist

I'd suggest that is not something you should advertise let alone take pride in, Andy.
I'm trying to make people better men. From soldiers to gangsters.

Too many people take technology for granted. They don't understand they have a history and are in tunned with nature

I simply refer to my gun as "my little friend".

Nobody wants to say hello to my little friend....

Thank you for demonstrating why you shouldn’t use mind altering substances and then post.

We have missiles called Tomahawks this is more sane

Is it because you think you’re deadly accurate? You’re just a cold blooded killer? Lost Anal Gerbil was already taken by the shotgun?

How sad for you.

I'm sure it gives you comfort in a way that no human can.

I call my guns just guns.
They are not pets nor toys that require names.
Holy shit. 😳

My rifles have names. Old girlfriends- my wife uses the names as well.... ;)

Treat with respect and care, they will act right. Abuse or neglect them and they do ya wrong... ✌️

I feel like perhaps when the second amendment was penned, the founders did not foresee that there would be people who would try to make people better men, from soldiers to gangsters, by advocating that they call their firearms "spitting cobras" and get "tunned" with nature.

Had they foreseen this eventuality, I like to think that they would have exercised a bit more rigor in defining the term "well-regulated" and its application.

I don't think it works that way. We call planes birds. Tanks cavalry.

I own a semi auto spitting cobra.

People say men are too toxic. Men these days are too weak. So sensitive they mow down crowds rather than settle stuff like real men. You want to use a gun? Do you know how it even works? What the formula of powder is? Using other people's tech to kill makes you the big man right? Like some boomers on their iphones the lone shooter thinks he is a big man but in reality nothing more than a wuss, a pawn in game.

They're called cobras. Respect this planet and it's resources before throwing lead everywhere.

Well, hate to break this to you, but when the Chinese first weaponized black powder, spitting cobra was not what they were thinking of.

Black powder was made in an effort to find a potion for immortality. Instead, they got an explosive powder in which they made fireworks (yanhuo). They realized that it could be weaponized and created large cannon and hand held cannons called teppo.

The image of a spitting cobra had nothing to do with it. That image did not inspire the Chinese to create teppo. It was fireworks that caused them to be inspired to create the first cannon and firearms.

No one will stop you from calling it a spitting cobra....just understand that wasn't the initial inspiration for firearms.

Pretty sure the Chinese had guns and rockets with dragon barrels and warheads. Not too far. Spitting cobras are real so looking at them after a nice day at the range is more realistic than idk worshiping dragons.

Religious people created guns:
Taoism has been connected to the philosopher Lao Tzu, who around 500 B.C.E. wrote the main book of Taoism, the Tao Te Ching. Taoism holds that humans and animals should live in balance with the Tao, or the universe. Taoists believe in spiritual immortality, where the spirit of the body joins the universe after death.

I am sure that everyone who sees you wandering down the street with your semi-automatic "spitting cobra" while mumbling all that to yourself feels much safer knowing that you are there, ready to protect them from any lone shooters.

Well regulated was rigorously defined that means a militia that has regulations such as firearms, ammo. So forth. Since malicious are formed as an impromptu thing they're not a standing military and the term militia, the regulations such as armaments firearms flashlights lanterns whatever has to come from the people. And that phrase right there is exactly why the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

If you're infringing on it it's essentially you're saying that there can be no standing militia and it's not necessary for the security of a free state.

That is incorrect. As per the Militia Act of 1903, there are two standing militias, the Reserve Militia, and the Organized Militia. The Reserve Militia includes all able-bodied men between the ages of 17 and 45.
