Yes, those states were founded by religious groups not welcome in Puritan controlled colonies. While the differences in religious beliefs caused a great deal of confrontation relatively few people were actually killed. In addition, none of the Christians sects had a religious obligation to exterminate those who refused to convert to their beliefs. Islam does have such an obligation stated in the Quran.

No, they aren't, they're conducting a war for their survival against several hostile Muslim terrorist cults. This has been happening from the day Ben-Gurion announced the State of Israel in 1948. This is the time for Irael to end this once and for all time. I don't care what organization concludes Israel is committing genocide. Israel should let nothing interfere with completing the job this time. If Hamas is going to kill 2 million Palestinians by using them as human shields, so be it.

They are not our ally. A commentator recently correctly said they are a model "Frienemy". They control, influence, manipulate the government, the media, and institutions in the US to make the US serve them. They push the US into wars on their behalf, including Iraq and now Iran. There comes a time to stop standing with them when they are dedicated to genocide and 82% support the ethnic cleansing of Gaza. You can support a better version of them, just as we could ally with Japan and German after the war.

I understand. But I want Israel to survive and thrive. Unfortunately, similar to the US, they are held captive by a ruler that does not have Israel's best interest at heart. Similar to the situation in our country, the leader should be in prison, not in power. I want him to fail and be jailed. He is not Israel; he is a rogue leader. Similarly, I love my country; I want it to succeed, but I am embarrassed by what we have become. We have "leadership" that does not have American interests at heart. I want the leader to fail, but not the country.

The Middle East has been a complicated situation for centuries. There are no good guys and bad guys. Until recently, Israel has generally (not absolutely) had the moral high ground, but no more. America is the same.

Biblically, in the end times, Israel stands alone against the world. It looks like they are stepping in that direction.
