I think that at this point it's rather obvious that Joe's denials about his son's business dealings lacked more than a little bit of candor. I would also suggest that the possibility of influence peddling is well worth looking into at this point. We needed a LOT less to investigate other presidents so to afford Joe full blown immunity is CLEARLY a double standard.

Bill was charged with perjury for covering up a tryst between two consenting adults, and with a woman who hadn't even been hired by the White House until TWO YEARS AFTER the new prosecutor in the Whitewater Investigation took over. It could not possibly have had less to do with Whitewater!

That's why Trump and his lapdog justice department were so desperate to restrict the scope of Mueller's investigation. Nothing terrifies the Republicans more than the prospect of the Democrats engaging in the same tactics the GOP uses.

While I applaud those remaining investigative reporters the problem is that they are not going to get the coverage, broadcasting, or distribution that they richly deserve 'Speaking Truth To Power' and 'Holding The Nation's Leaders Accountable' when those in power or leading the nation have a 'D' after their names, because of the political lean which those controlling the coverage, broadcasting, or distribution have. It's a sad state of affairs, really.
