Sydney Leathers — the woman who horndog Anthony Weiner sexted as “Carlos Danger,” torpedoing his mayoral campaign in 2013 — has accused the pervy former pol of being up to his old tricks again, with yet another woman.

Leathers on Thursday posted a scathing review of the recent documentary “Weiner” — which covers the sexting scandal — on Beltway blog Washington Babylon, and in Leathers’ “thumbs down” notice, she writes that Weiner’s “behavior will continue. In fact, I am certain his behavior continues to this day because a woman who claims to be one of his current sexting partners has reached out to me for advice.”

I don't like Mr. Weiner, he used to represent my Congressional District in NYC when I lived there over a decade ago. I met him personally several times.

However, I've never really understood the hoopla over this sexting scandal, aside from moral outrage of the "faux adultery" via the internet.

From all reports Ms. Leathers was a ready and willing participant of legal age; who was also ready and willing to profit from the story once it was "revealed."

While I find it personally silly, and rather a foolish thing to do; IMO what two consenting adults do is their own business.

If his wife is unconcerned about it personally (perhaps recognizing it as online and not "real" adultery), then why should anyone else care?

The guy's a perv - Mr Weiner was sending pictures of his Weiner across the internet to solicit sexual encounters.

Nobody's calling it illegal - he didn't break any laws - but it's still the sort of pervy trenchcoat thing that made voters think twice about him.

**** this guy. It's so obvious what a creep like this guy craves power for.

Pretty much this. I get really tired of everyone making a big deal of people's interpersonal scandals. He didn't do anything illegal, and he's not even in office anymore, which makes this even less relevant.

I mean, it's slightly funny in some cases, like in the case of an anti-gay congressman being caught cruising in a toilet that happened a few years ago. But I frankly don't give a ****, in terms of what it means for their ability to lead.

Fact of the matter: it is fairly common for powerful people to be relatively poor spouses, even when they are motivated by principle and activism. Some of our best politicians and activists have been pretty difficult to know in person.

That American politics is such a gossip culture is one of the many reasons we have such a hard time electing anyone of substance. All anyone cares about is who's sexting whom. Good grief, who cares?

Anthony Weiner cheated on his wife. But who are we kidding? This is a marriage of convenience for both parties.

So she says. Has it occurred to you that this Page Six tidbit could be a plant designed to engender preemptive sympathy for Huma? ;)

Correct. We all know that Huma is Hillary's squeeze.

No it hadn't, but that's a good point.

What does Huma need a second job for - unless she's afraid Anthony won't meet any child support payments

So if Hillary wins, we'll have 2 women in the White House who have cheating perverts for husbands.

Because we expect our political representatives, who hold our lives in their hands, not to be sending unrequested pics of their private parts out over the internet. It's unbecoming to the office, undignified behavior, possibly criminal, and, frankly, stupid. He also sent pics FROM the House itself (that's when he was drummed out of office by his co-reps). There comes a point when a person's behavior shows he lacks judgment and is just too stupid to represent the public's interest. Now, it appears he may have an addiction or some mental problem reflected in this behavior.

This is different from having a private affair.

Oh, for gosh sakes. He didn't have an affair. He repeatedly sent unrequested pics of his private parts to people he didn't even know, over the internet. Including pics from the House of Representatives itself.

That says PERV and STOOOOPID all over it. He's unfit to hold people's lives in his hands. His hands are obviously busy with other things. Oh, and YES...it CAN be illegal to send porn pics to people via email or text. If someone sent such pics to me, unrequested, I could press charges.

NOW do you get it? He didn't have an affair. This was not just done to his wife. It was done to his constituents and the country. He has a problem. And there IS a sort of decorum we expect from our political representatives. They are dealing with serious business, and they are role models. Plus, he did it repeatedly, unable to stop, apparently. That means he's STOOOOPID and lacks judgment and control.

Hmm...what part of "willing LEGALLY adult" participants is difficult to grasp?

Who will be viewing "pic's of private parts" on the internet except those who actively seek them?

Who care's from whence the pix are sent as long as they are sent from a personally owned piece of technology?

As far as a mental problem? When a psychiatric professional who has actually examined and diagnosed him declares a problem, then you may have a point about this issue.

However, MANY citizens of all ages, races, sexes, walks of life...even those in public office engage in various forms of sexual activity including "sexting." As long as they are all consenting adults it should be of no concern to anyone.

You apparently aren't familiar with what happened. No...the female did NOT request pics of his private parts. She didn't even know him.

He has a serious problem. I know some guys think that anything involving sex is okay...it's personal. This was not sex. This was not an affair. This was pervy stuff indicating a serious problem. He cont'd to do it even after he was in trouble over it.

He has a problem. And he's a perv. He's too stupid to hold office, not to mention a total lack of judgment. It was also possibly criminal.

If some guy sent me pics of his private parts, I could have him arrested. It's a crime. NOW do you get it?

Apparently I know more about it than you do.

If we are talking about Sydney Leathers she was a wiling participant. Just check your facts.

If we are talking about the hearsay story from Ms. Leathers cited by the OP? We have yet to see any FACTS about this alleged third party she is referring to.

As for sexting being illegal? It is when it involves child pornography:

Generally, sexting is illegal if the person depicted in the photo is a child under the age of 18, even if the person who takes, receives, or shares the photo is also a child.
Is sexting illegal? | Criminal Law

In a small number of States there may be some misdemeanor offense involved when both parties are adults and one is not consenting, but it is NOT "universally" illegal.

"Pervy stuff" is in the eye of the beholder UNLESS is it actually illegal (like child porn, flashing, peeping tom, etc.).

Meanwhile, some women think "anything involving sex is okay" too to address your little ad hominin about men. Whether male or female, everything IS okay as long as it is between two consenting adults in private circumstances.

The oddest thing about all this faux concern regarding nude pictures is that we are not born with clothing. There is nothing inherently offensive about the human body or any of it's component parts in and of itself. It's all a matter of perception.
