Is the war on Christmas the most overblown issue in America today? How would you like to be greeted this week?

Really doesn't matter much to me. The thought, the goodwill, the spirit of sharing a happy experience especially in these tough times is all that matters to me. I think those that get their knickers in a knot over this stuff are just plain grumpy and mean spirited.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

Happy Christmas

Merry Christmas implies you want me to get drunk.

The war on Christmas ended thanks to Trump.....

"Trump then said that because he stated, during the campaign, “They are going to say Merry Christmas again.” And now, he said, “They are.” The president continued, “That’s the least of it, too. Because we got a lot of things that they’re doing that they weren’t doing.” "

You can greet me any way you want. I have absolutely no problem with someone wishing me a Merry Christmas.

And I am glad to wish them the same.

What does bother me, is those people who insist that Christmas is the only valid December holiday.

I wonder what it feels like to believe the universe is centered around you?

Pretty much all of them are fine for me, except for Kwanzaa, festivus, or hanukkah as I celebrate Christmas. However, if you use those other greetings, I would have no reason to be offended either.

I'm not religious. It's just an appreciated paid holiday to me.

Probably like a giant black hole.
Incredibly dense, very destructive, full of gas.
Despite their alleged power, they are easily avoidable.
Social distancing or, more appropriately shunning, really works!

Any is fine as it will be in the spirit of the season. And will be returned as well!

"Happy Festivus. I have a lot of problems with you, and now I'm gonna air them."

Greet me however you would like and I won't be offended but, I will be offended if the person telling me was dictated to by someone else how to address people during the holidays. People should not be told how to address people.

other - I don't care.

Personally I tend to use some form of "happy holidays", because I can say it once and have it count for new years day as well.

I miss Billo.

Merry Happy whatever.

"May you save $2000 somewhere this week"

I think that would be a wonderful greeting pretty much every week

DUDE. Feel better. (Duh, right?)
Actually, I feel fine, thank you. Mother in law hospitalized last week but home now. My wife has spent last 5 days tending to her there. Wife tested positive about an hour ago. I'm guessing I'm next. The elderly couple that exposed mother in law, one doing okay but the other one died.
